The reason why Six dropped Mono was that Six finally got a look at Mono's face. This whole entire game he has been wearing a mask and this was the moment when his face is revealed. While being captured by The Thin Man, six saw the Thin Man's face. Six knows what he looked like. Now that she saw Mono's face she realizes that Mono is the Thin Man releases him out of fear.

In my point of view, the entities in the universe of little nightmares need a host to do entity things, and the host doesn't live forever, so it needs to be replaced from time to time. In the first game the entity and the host were the Maw and the Lady, respectively. Six killed the Lady and became the Maw's host, and now the same happened to Mono. Eyes are present all the time on both games, which indicates that the entities watch potential new hosts (the children), and give them a fraction of their power. Or I might be wrong all that is said is complete bullshit.

So, Six betrayed us, now I don’t know how I must feel about her as a protagonist. It looks like she actually used Mono all this time just to achieve her own goal to survive. Mono became a new Thin Man, but what’s next? All these events, how the hell it explains everything in this game?! This series already makes me wonder what the hell is happening. Is it just an allusion on society and it’s problems, or it has some sort of a backstory of the world of Little Nightmares? The games are super cool, but the story is really leaving you with a lot of questions (in a good way)

Ok so for those who arent aware. If you've never seen or played the mobile game, and if your never watched official dev interviews, then the ending to the game (specifically the secret ending and the beginning) might seem...confusing. to some of us anyway. The game is actually a sequel. I thought it was a prequel

Six's monster form reminds me of the lady and janitor. The hair, and the long arms. Also, there's a big piece missing between LN1 and 2. Where six got out of the maw and how she got to the city. It doesnt matter if its a prequel or a sequel, either way the time still loops.

I keep seeing people saying that Six shouldn't have betrayed mono because he would've been a powerful Allie And that's really the point,Six was scared of anything more powerful than herself and I do believe mono is stronger than Six and it shows how selfish she is Both games she's only ever watched out for herself and only cared for herself How she ignored the hanging man in the first game,completely forgets bout the child that gave her the food to feed her hunger,killing the innocent knome who tried to help her out And in this game I found it apparent that at moments Six would run away leaving Mono behind to fend for himself and looking at it now,it feels like that was an intentional game design The thing that I didn't really notice at first but I now do believe was intentional is that whenever you die in the game,she keeps on running,not even looking back She never cared about him from the start

This is a loop in time thing? Six teletransport to the first game to save herself, the boy is betrayed and transform into the man with the hat, just to repeat the story again?

Why are we so surprised from a chronic backstabber?

I feel like Six betrayed Mono because she felt like he had hurt her. When Mono first encounters monster Six she is peaceful, and even tries to show him her music box, until he tries to break it. Mono saw it as his way of freeing Six, but to her he was destroying something special to her that she wanted to share with him. After she returned to her child form, she still resented him for what he did to her. She's been shown to be sadistic and vengeful before, i.e breaking the porcelain childs head after she has been captured and warming her hands while the doctor was cremated alive. Six felt betrayed by Mono because he broke what made her happy and feel safe, and wanted vengeance. Edit: also at the beginning when Mono first found Six, he scared her and when he offered her his hand she pushed him and ran away, both first and last encounters with one another Six has rejected Mono

Ok if six saves him then thin man wouldn’t have caused all this but she didn’t,now I really hate her

We've come a looooooong way from Prince of Persia - This MUST be the epitome of the platformer - I can't imagine many platformers will be as graphically rich, atmospheric and immersive as this in the future...

LN2 happens before the first game. mono is the thin man. and Six is the Geisha in the first. The game works a lot with this time travel issue.

if u guys see the secret ending she drops mono bcuz she didn’t want to eat him. the second time u encounter touching the tv and they are blasted back into the real world u could see that six scoots away from mono kinda scared she knows that mono is the thin man so at the end she made the choice to kill him not knowing he would survive just for the cycle to begin again and if u see at the third time the tv thing happens and they are blasted back u could see that she tries to reach for mono but she is hesitant and decided to run away

This part of the game is actually terrifying to play
