The interruption of the music and the silence after the final blast give a special touch to the scene. The suffocating sound of the hunter is another high point. This game is pure dark poetry.

If you slow it down you see that the Hunter's head just vanishes a couples frames after you shoot through the door.

The hunting part felt way too short for me,I need a dlc about The Hunter in the future! He clearly has potential as a character and seems to hide A LOT of secrets.

Sam Moore you have valid points but there appears to be something blocking you from exiting the door, most likely the hunters dead body. Either way, I have a feeling there will be a dlc on the hunter in the future because the hunter did not get a lot of gameplay.

@@eviestainton8384 I kind of hope so, he's my favorite character I've seen so far(which isn't much because I don't want the game spoiled). I know this might sound silly, but my personal headcanon is that the people he stuffed he didn't kill, but found dead in his traps. And he stuffed them and placed them in his house because he felt lonely.

I like how every enemy we faced has powers,abilities,extended limbs and just straight up deformed and fast meanwhile we got the hunter who uses a double barrel shotgun and a lantern

In my opinion this is the most disappointing part of the game, because the Hunter was advertised as one of the major villains, which he still is of course, but the entire forest part of this game is way too short. If you look at the concept art you can see that the forest part was actually supposed to be longer

Hunter is probably protecting himself from them. You can tell form the traps he makes because he scared if the people from the Pale City would mind control him or something like that.

What’s interesting about this is that the Hunter never tries to shoot six he’s always focused on trying to shoot mono. There are even moments where six goes out right Infront of him and he doesn’t even react he only is hunting Mono..

To be fair, NONE of the monsters actually attack six unless it's a cutscene.

Notice how the Hunter is the most human-looking of all the monsters in this game because he lives in the countryside, far away from the Signal Tower. Neat little detail.

wooden boxes are sometimes not enough to stop a bullet and save you so i think you have to stay behind and far away from the boxes

Theory: what if the hunter never died? I mean we can already see that he survived a bullet in the head before, and we can’t really confirm that he’s dead bc we never saw his body... we might see him again in a dlc but maybe with two bullet holes in his head for obvious reasons

Well, if the hunter show himself, it would be in the forehead or even in the mouth, that hole was specifically made for him to see through. Plus, if he shot himself there, it would be very bloody

The Hunter's Description, by me. His presence in the wilderness was unknown, therefore, nobody got warned from his wrath. Only the fate of others can tell you the story. Elders might have told you that don't go alone without Someone. But if you are alone, there's always someone out there. With the thirst for more.

Probably a reflex, since he couldn't see Mono and Six after they got out of the shack. He could have assumed both of them would still be nearby, and the Hunter took his chances.
