"The Ghost of Tawny Owl Wood" (Season 4, Episode 3): Mr. Jones and Walter get into a spot of bother while looking for a mythical cure to old age. They mistake Stumpy for a ghost and in his haste to run away Mr. Jones falls down a deep hole. Stan and Little Red Tractor stage a midnight rescue and safely return Mr. Jones to his farm. However, once there, they see strange shadows moving across the barn wall. Is there a ghost after all?

The Little Red Tractor lives on Gosling Farm with a young farmer called Stan. The farm is a modest size, but full of rural charm. The local farming community is made up of colourful characters including larger, more powerful machines than Little Red Tractor, but our hero relies on his wit and determination to compete in the everyday challenges they face.
