The reason they sound so incredible singing together.....no auto-tune. They are only singing with talent, which used to be a requirement to sing. I really miss these kinds of singers, but at least I can listen to them whenever I want. ;)

Hi Guys, LRB and the Bee Gees were our top 2 vocal harmony groups in Australia in the 60's,70's and 80's etc............the Bee Gees began as school kids in talent shows in Brisbane in the 50's and LRB in Adelaide in 1975. So glad you're discovering both groups, there are so many more great songs to experience. For your next LRB song I would highly recommend "It's a long way there" the title track from their debut album, an absolute masterpiece! Hi George and Patrick, thank you for your reaction. The Little River Band was from Australia, mid 70’s - 80’s. If you check out any more of their songs, make sure Graham Goble, Glenn Sherrock and Beeb Birtles are performing the vocals/guitars. They are the originals. Some other GREAT tunes by them are: It’s a Long Way There, Help Is On the Way, Lonesome Loser, Down On the Border, The Night Owls, Lady, Man On Your Mind. I love their harmonies, wonderful band that got screwed over by other band member and record label. Janet from Louisiana ☮️🖤🤟

Circa 1980, in New Haven CT we had one of the biggest concerts ever in our state at the Yale Bowl. Little River Band, Heart and The Eagles. After that show, the neighbors in the area complained and that was the last concert at the Yale Bowl. Only sporting events were allowed….

Summer Jam 1980! $17.50 per ticket general admission for over 6 hours of music. I was there..It was wild. . It was Hot! . My partial permanent hearing loss started that day... saw someone next to me get knocked out by a flying bottle. Got up front to the stage by the time the Eagles played.. Read in the news shortly after that 11 people were admitted to the hospital. Oh yeah... There were 72,000 people who attended

@@jimmyfortrue3741 I lived in Orange on rt 34 at the time. Traffic was insane. I had to work at Bonanza (sad to say) and couldn’t go. I was so mad. But saw the Eagles at the New Haven Coliseum the year before.

@@laurakali6522 It was crazy... Having general admission for 72,000 people was not a good idea. Part of the reason why people got hurt... The bottle throwing ( there was a lot of that ) and the oppressive heat did the rest. And I honestly lost some hearing in one ear I have never recovered. Wish I never went up front.

Not familiar with this band but I really enjoyed this song. It's lovely and got a great melody. Must check them out on KZfaq. Many thanks for your reaction, guys, and you're right, it's good to look back on happy times and also learn by our mistakes. We've all been through such a difficult time in the last 18 months or so and we need to look forward to better times.

One of my top ten groups even after changing the lead vocalist. Great harmony. A favorite song is We Two but honestly can't think of a bad song by this wonderful group.

This song has travelled a long way, all the way from Australia, I prefer their song "Lonesome Loser". FYI John Farnham (I think you have reacted to John previously?) anyway he replaced Glen Shorrock (you hear his voice here on Take It Easy On Me) and John was with the band for a short while, just before his own career skyrocketed

I haven't heard this in decades. Great pick. Another three great singers show off on the Live version of 3 Dog Night's song Eli's Coming. The opening on their live concert is sensational. Always pick 3 Dog Night live songs from the concert with a stage surrounded by floor lights. That was such a good concert. So glad it was preserved.

Glenn Sherrocks voice is so easily recognize able but I didn't know all of them sang so well. I should have noticed the different voices on different solos. To be honest I prefer Glenn Shorrocks vocals in LRB rather than John Farnham but there are a few songs nearer the end of LRB that suits Farnhams vocals well.

Love Little River Band. May I suggest a themed song reaction to songs about the sea starting with Cool Change by this same band. Then maybe Southern Cross and/or Wooden Ships by Crosby Stills and Nash. Also I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home by Grand Funk Railroad. There are so many more.
