@Vincent Palmer I've been saying this since the day I finished Little Shop: CAST NATHAN LANE AS MUSHNIK. He was on the callbacks list for the original 82 production (as Seymour though), but I think he'd make a great Mushnik

That is THE most soothing form of Dentist I've ever heard in my life! It adds a kind of Hannibal Lecter feel where he seems himself as an artist of pain, not a sadist. Well done!

Is it wrong that I find every villain you act and sing as, attractive and sound just perfect for that part. Especially here as the Dentist amazing. I love this medley, amazingly creativity, always great and incredible vocals and prop and costumes. Now I want a full cover of the Dentist song.

Well, it's not in the original stage musical. Spoiler: in the stage musical, the plant wins. The final number is "Don't Feed The Plants." Though I would have liked to see that one.

when i was probably the ages 3-6 i would play this soundtrack and grease on repeat!! my all time favorites!! my parents raised me well 😁 my dad was a choir teacher for 30+ years and did this musical a couple times. but i was too young to remember 😩

Your voice never ceases to amaze me. It's so pitch perfect, but your range is just incredible! The way you can sing in that raspy feminine tone is just mind-blowing, I've never seen a guy hit those notes quite the way you do.

i haven’t watched any nick pitera videos in so long (came back to this channel after the most recent video - 90s disney medley) and man he’s still got it. my sister and i used to watch all the time. this medley has a great range of characters (especially loved his orin!) but a skid row section would’ve been the cherry on top

One of Alan Menken's greatest works!! If you know the history of why he wrote the "Dentist" song for this it makes it a whole lot funnier.

Yeah I know, but I researched it Alan Menken wrote the entire score. Howard Ashman was a writer for the story and a producer.

@@cjhansen6618 Howard Ashman was the lyricist though, yes? Alan Menken wrote the musical score but throughout their collaboration Howard did the lyrics. I'm sure Alan helped with lyric ideas and vice versa, but they were equal contributors

@@knopflerfan9069 Yes, Howard Ashman was a lyricist for Alan Menken. Like Tim Rice is a lyricist who worked with Andrew Lloyd Weber and Elton John. When I saw Alan Menken in concert back in 2019 he said he wrote the song "I'll Be Your Dentist". Granted Howard Ashman may have helped him with the lyrics or Alan may have ran them past him.
