Its because the theatre show is only written with the invasion ending. The electro shock scene was written specifically for the movie.

It wasn't intended to be for the movie, The movie was supposed to end like all the plays did. But, test audiences reacted to it negatively. So, they had to change it. Despite that, you can see the original ending in the Director's Cut.

WHY is ervery theatre version with the invasion at the end? I'd like to see a theatre with the electro shock scene.

Because, that how it ends in the original play, and The Director's Cut.
