I declare Little Simz and Obongjayar the reigning ambassadors of "The groove", "The funk", "the vibe" what ever the heck you want to call it.

Interesting fact: While Simbi's Lacoste top is a retro-styled throwback to the '80s, Obong's top is literally a t-shirt from the '80s.

All for it as long as I don't have to wait longer for their next solo albums. Lovin them together but I love them on their own too.

These children have amalgamated fella, American RNb soul hip hop jazz and African music in one thing. So fresh some of us hard lost hope. Thank God.

The song is just a tour de force of musicianship and raw talent, but honestly, I think I prefer this live version to the one on the album. Just incredible 😁

What I see in Simz is someone who puts everything into their art and someone who comes from a really solid, well adjusted place. Been through all this... Her command and composure are next level, stadium level, and that's something you earn. Take it from the man.

@@tariq6319Omg listen to Boy Spyce. Especially his song folake. It’s not really for typical Afrobeat listeners but if you’re looking for a different sound, I’d recommend
The album track is incredible and this live version is addictive. Hope they all enjoy a lot of success coming up, they hard deserve it
