Yessss exactly great advice! I always ask myself, "would I talk about my best friend this way?" and of course the answer is NO, so I've been able to gradually break the negative self talk habit!

I can't believe how much you accomplish in a day! When I was in college, I could barely make it to class on time. You are just amazing. When you painted you nails, I exclaimed "how in the hell does she have time to paint her nails" and my husband just laughed AT me. Keep it up girl. You are an inspiration. Oh ... And yes, please show us how to use all the vellum that is sitting in a box, never being touched!

@Bloom omg yes I agree completely! Same for me, I was really hard on myself in my teens, and even into my 20s. Now in my 30s I regret that and I no longer treat myself that way. I love how you phrased it "extend your kindness and compassion to yourself". 💕 What helped me break the cycle was realizing that I would never treat my best friend the way I was treating myself. I'd never be calling her stupid or lazy or whatever. So now I treat myself with the kindness & understanding like I was already doing for my friend. 💖

I also got that tsuki-yo ink as my first fountain ink!!!! And then a whole bunch more too....hahah let’s not tell my husband! If you’re also interested in the passion tea lemonade from Starbucks, Costco has the passion tea cartons and a blackberry lemonade, they go great together

I admire you so much for the books on your to-read list!! Those books were in our middle to high school curricula in the states and omg crime and punishment has got to be one of the densest books I've ever read - once we analyzed and broke it down in class it was mind blowing but to want to read them on your own, PROPS 💕💕 Also, I'll never get tired of saying how lovely your spreads are :) And your weekly videos are a joy to open every Sunday 💕

The part of the prism colors A mom makes the best effort to give their children what they need I still have mine I don’t use them often but I make sure to use them once in a while for my physiology and anatomy notes to help me learn them

Ahhh I love and enjoyed this vlog so much!! So interesting to see the appearancess of the chai tea latte (now Im curious of how they taste 😳) and the ink, fountain pen. Actually slept at 3 that day haha. It was because I had a flight and my uber was picking me up at 5:30 that day! Normally I wake up at around 7-8am ^_^
