I actually felt saddened by the fact that the LBP series is slowly being forgotten by Sony, SBBA was an alright game but I don't consider it a LBP game, it's tied into the same universe but plays differently. I hope that one day we get a LBP 4, it would be hella awesome

I doubt any of my levels were significant enough to be archived. Still, huge props to that guy for being able to salvage most of the community levels so they didn't end up being lost to time.

This is both depressing and good to see. It's sad that the servers were shut down for good, but I'm glad we can still access most of the levels. Whoever archived it, thank you so much, you are a legend. This game was my child hood and I'm so lucky to have experienced it with all of you. One day maybe we will see the little big planet 4 trailer. For Mario maker 1, we never thought they'd make a sequel, but then they did. My hope is that one day we will get it. We must never forget this game. All the memories I have. The Jeff the Killer Levels, Bomb Survival, Shark Survival, the Negativatron. Good times.

Heres a clarification ayee: Every single level got archived. BUT any level that used cross controller dlc is not going to be archived

I regret not playing this game in so many years, but now that its mostly gone (including my save data, which corrupted probably 4-5 years ago) i just domt wan to bear the pain of seeing my childhood favorite game in a sore state.

i hope they make a lbp4, i was 4 when the first game came out and i remember always playing it with my little sister, we basically grew up on the game, so many memories, sony should care more as there are still thousands of active players on lbp, its a shame they shut down everything regarding the game

Honestly, very glad about it. But what now? Hopefully more than just make archive levels and maybe eventually we'll get to publish completely new ones. Is it possible? No clue, but apparently the modnation fandom seems to have achieved that

I hope the Hikoosen Sonic Levels (Like the Neon Night Highway level etc.) are in the level archive, I would be excited And play it for my eternity for this nostalgia (oh I can forget The “Sonic The Sackboy” and The “Sonic The Sackboy (Sonic Forces Version)” in the Level archive, I remember Having a high score in the Sonic forces level, and still I was proud of it)

I just hope for the day we get a remaster of LBP and LBP2

I used to play LBP3 all the time but then I stopped but I started to play it again recently and I realized how much fun it really is. Don't take things for granted, kids.

Got the platinum and sold my copy to a father looking to find games for his kids. This was a few months before the original servers were shut down. Kinda crazy to think it's all gone now.

Just found some level that i made as a 7 year old about killing dora that had 164 hearts lmao

I swear the level in the background, I did exactly that Level on PS VITA without knowing this existed. And the setup is almost exactly the same. Of course it is way better made than what I did with 9 years old, but the hamster cage, the fridge, the stove, the TV and Remote thing. So either it's a huge coincidence or that level was made after my level, but it's really cool to see a sort of Remake from my level, no matter if they actually did use my level as inspiration or not

I have an idea on how to fix corrupted data. All you would need is someone who has basically everything to copy their safe file to USB and upload it somewhere (i.e discord). Then to download it to your PS4/5 just downloaded it to your own USB and copy the files

this is amazing news! i hope someone makes an easy search-able way to download specific levels individually that would be great as for getting the lbp1 and 2 stuff, i remember i got all of that way before the servers shut down using levels that gave you all the items through item bubbles, would it still not be possible to get the items that way? couldnt someone also make a save editing tool to replicate the effect of the game giving you the items from those games post ps3 server shut down?

Hey man where and how do i download the levels, way back in the day i made levels under the name kieranpass but i lost access to my ps3 years ago and recently got a new one and realised i cant access my levels i made back on lbp1, it would be so amazing to see my levels i made with my siblings again as its been over 10 years and i dont have any of my siblings in my life any more and it would be so cool to go back in time, keep up the great work man!

there was jeff killer level on lbp 2 were it had sackperson hanging in ceiling and then lbp 3 it was removed so i wonder if they gonna add it in again since the level first appered on lbp 2 its called beware of jeff the killer the first one and jeff the killer two which is return of jeff of the killer on lbp 1 so hopefully it might be archived

Just got a PS5 and contemplating buying LBP3 just to build levels, don't really care about publishing them. But with the servers down, I wouldn't have access to the "timesaver" levels that give you the items from the previous games, which heavily discourages me.

ig beacuse of that we still can share our levels somehow? we can save our levels to a usb drive or whatever you got there and send it somewhere and then download to ps3/4 ig idk we just will have to be careful to not download viruses lol

They definitely have a reason why they shut down the lbp servers, but I don’t know the reason so I still don’t understand why they shut down the lbp servers, I feel like they were too lazy to keep up with the servers. Keep up with all the hackers shutting down the servers every month, deal with bugs , etc. I think the creators of this game might also probably are focusing on other things.

It’s weird how they’re shutting it all down though, hopefully they’re making a new game? I doubt it tho :(

I had custom Sonic LBP3 skins that were really well made, like they looked official. they were Amy, Shadow, Super Sonic, Rouge, and Metal Sonic IIRC. When I heard of the game shutting down, when I checked my save my file was currupted.
