You can't possibly be in your 40"s! Wow! I am a caregiver for my husband too, he has epilepsy and something called fmd. Unfortunately, I have become sick with a severe type of asthma and it is really hard for both of us. My adult children are a great help. What you are doing is such a blessing to your husband and I can tell you have a great soul!! We also live in a mobile home and are constantly trying to update it. Your videos are inspiring! About the ceiling strips…we made over my dad's trailer and replaced those strips with stained 2 x 4's for a more realistic beam look. It wasn’t expensive THEN. 🙄

I kinda chuckled when you were talking about the sand because my sister got the privilege to go to Hawaii some time back and I told her to bring me back a jar of sand. I knew I would never get to go to Hawaii but I wanted a little keepsake. I also wanted to hold the sand in my hand. I still have it to this day.

Just loved your video! Your house is looking so nice. I too am a caregiver. Nurse for over 30 years now retired. Helped care for my diabetic father in law and blind mother in law for many years to allow them to be in their own home. They are both gone now. Helped my 80yo mom care for my 89yo dad and lost him to bone cancer, dementia, pneumonia on Father’s Day this year. Now I’m looking after my mom. She lives in her own home still but needs lots of support. My hubby is working from home but has thyroid cancer. So far a cancer free now. His surgery in 2019 left him with practically no voice and a paralyzed vocal cord. That’s been really really hard for us. He’s a very sweet loving supportive loud happy grandpa and it’s hard for him not to sing in church or cheer on the grandkids at games etc. Remember to always take time for you. I’m so glad you get out to thrift and things you love. That’s my sanity too. PS your hubby is just the cutest in this video. Looking forward to his singing. He reminds me of my hubby. ❤️❤️🙏🏻 ❤️❤️

I did have a thought on the flower pot that you are not fond of instead of getting a new pot maybe you could get a little can of paint or some craft paint to match the the pretty blue color In your carpet. I'd leave the door white because of front door being white. Once trimmed it will go well together. Could always paint it black because if you do not like it can always paint it back to white. I haven't lived there in about 30 years now I loved my trips to nearby KY! You have done an amazing job on your home! I've flipped two mobile homes before becoming disabled and it is no east task but I is oh so rewarding when it's done! Don't let people make you feel poor just because you want to be debt free and save money! What your doing is very inspirational and very SMART! There is so much more to life than "stuff"! Room looks good. I really like the way the drapes, rug and sofa go together, I don't see anything wrong with the sofa. I think you should leave the door white since it's right next to the white front door. It will look good once it's framed out. I'm anxious to see the bathroom updates, I know bathrooms are more expensive to do especially if you change out fixtures.
