Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! I can so relate to his growing up in a very conservative rural environment and being the black sheep. Smart and outspoken isn't tolerated much in those parts of Sweden

Johnny might deny it but in 2004-2006 he was a rising star and 3-time National champion. He was second only to Evgeny Plushenko in the entire world. His 2006 program at Nationals was described as one of the best ever by Dick Button. But once he got famous he started shooting his mouth off and worrying too much about his costumes. He clearly craves the spotlight.
