Here is my next episode of the regeneration project at The Littlewoods Building in Liverpool.
The building is being developed in to a large studio for film and television.
It is going to be a fantastic project to follow and I will look to get here once a month to begin with.

I suspect the developers would like to be able to knock the whole building down, and not just the tower, and start the construction from scratch. That would be way easier and they can still make it look the same as the Littlewoods building.

Just a heads up about the tower ! They've nearly finished demolishing it ! Boss channel nick really enjoying the Everton new stadium videos 👍

Great update Nick, the tower must of been in a very unstable condition for them to start so quickly. Surprised to see the asbestos sheeting still in place right next to the tower but as @123tinhat says it must be on the program to be removed next.

Looks like the crane got a serious hydraulic fluid leak, which is why it’s in that position to be fixed. Interesting footage. Thanks 🙏

This would have been a fantastic location for EFC's new Goodison. Transport links are essential and this is as good a location as any. We have long family ties to this building, so let's hope it takes shape again.

It's a listed building and EFC would never EVER have got permission to demolish it which they would have had to do, that much should be obvious.

Probably getting rid of the asbestos sheetings and damaged ironwork will be the next big job.

It should of been fast and easy to demolish. Seeing as it was supposedly in danger of collapsing on its own.

I thought it was a Art Deco grade listed building. That means the tower should have been dismantled carefully and rebuilt from whatever they could reuse..

The tower was totally unstable mate but it will be rebuilt as an exact replica of the original as per the norm with any Grade A listed building.

It said in the echo that they would be dismantling it and rebuilding it with as much of the old structure as possible. It looks like they have just torn it down and all the brick etc are just crushed by the looks of it.????
