I think it was a very good interpretation, in her genius video, she said the song was mostly about power in general, including of course feminine power. The verse " el de arriba nos ha señalao" refers to how she and her gang feel as if God protects them, which somehow is part of that power. In the translation is changes the meaning with " pointed us out", would be more "pointed at us", as God saying "u go girl"

She had a teaser video explaining that with a Trans woman talking in a French accent in english explaining that the Auto Cuture where woman that did nails back then in France and went city by city, town by town doin nails, just like in the video, there's a legend saying that those women gave you powers once they did your nails, I don't really know if it's true but that's what she explained in the teaser
