Another video of our series "Interviews with Buddhist Studies Students":
Ralph Craig III is a PhD candidate in the Department of Religious Studies at Stanford University. In this video we discuss what he plans to write about for his PhD thesis: the concept of liturgy in Indian and Tibetan Buddhism. Does this notion make sense in a Buddhist context? If so, how best to apply it? Are there Sanskrit or Tibetan terms which convey a similar meaning? We also talk about Ralph's academic career thus far and life as a PhD student at Stanford University.
Taken from his Stanford profile:
Ralph Craig III received his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA where his research interests focused on Sanskrit and the intellectual history of religions in South Asia, as well as Early Christianity and yoga studies.
