Can someone explain to me the benefit of while he was training, his coaches would build his weight and then decrease the weight again, etc? Thank you. Just trying to learn.

It has to do with timing of the other lifters. they have a general framework based on listed attempts of other lifters, but there are misses, changes, etc.. he was just staying warm with 120kg.

@@wesyale2887 The 120 is such a low weight compared to his max that it won’t affect his ability for maximal effort. It simply keeps the muscles and nervous system ready.

Everyone at this level is doping, you cant naturally lift 215 at 89, it’s not physically possible without doping, the only problem with the doping is that he got caught cheating where everyone else didn’t
