Great video sir. Learn a lot Sir can you tell me how to define the shape and size of the stock(raw material) .for example i have a rectangular cross section rod. so how can i specify the dimension of the stock in the software(artcam).

What software to use to give toolpath other than artcam for complex rotary models?

for complex ratary you'll need a CAM software supports multi-axis (4 or more). So PowerMill, NX, Fusion360, etc, these may do the job but the big problem is where to get the post processor.

Hello Liu Xin, I have tried your method plus LOTS of other ways to make a rotary G code with Artcam but nothing works. The toolpath is allways incorrect and not accurate. Is solidcam or fusion 360 a better program to use?

rotary might be complex depends on your cnc system. usually it's more easier to make a centrosymmetrical columns. but for some irregular parts, it's impossible to get good result with a 3 axis machine. my email is instantlx@gmail.com. it's also my skype. tell me more about your machine, let's try finding a solution
