THANK YOU! I always do a 15-20min consultation to explain everything. When lash artists say "glue doesn't work" I cringe. These 2 day classes aren't teaching them the actual science behind the products and techniques so there is no way for them to be able to troubleshoot!

Good, consultation is so important even with returning guests. And I know they aren't being taught the right way to use and store their glue. Especially starting out your going to have retention issues and so knowing everything about glue and priming and washing is so so important

Great topic to cover! When I first started it was always the glue’s fault lol, I know better now. Another thing too is the weather! You can control the humidity and temperature in the studio but when the client leaves and it’s -35 outside you can’t do anything about it. Thanks for another great video ♥️👍😊

My esty instructor told me my lash sets needed to be done in an hour I was under so much stress in class when I was learning. Now that I’m pretty good at them it still takes me about 2 hours. It’s an experience. Me and my clients jam to music and hang out and in the end they have a nice set of lashes. They pay for quality so rushing is pointless

Love this! I have so many questions lol I have older clients who I struggle with retention. They refuse to stop using mascara, eyeliner, and Harvey eye makeup. So I have them cleans as soon as they walk in and then I do a prep with primer. I thought this would help but I’m still having bad retention. What would you recommend? Thanks for giving out all the free info and for helping all of us in the lash industry! You guys are great!

If they have oily natural lashes yes if not I wouldn't because they are freshly clean ♥

my retention is good, but i had some issues with some clients when i change my primer and use the bonder. i noticed i didn't have issue with my client who have oily skin. Should i keep using my regular primer and misting on the clients i had an issues with. Like their lashes fall out fast or maybe i used too much product?

My main problem, is just retention with hybrids and volume sets. I only have a couple of clients that have issues, I feel as if it’s something they’re doing and not mentioning to me though, how should I handle that? I’ve tried everything I can personally do to help and it helps a little but they still always have “issues”

Let them know that your other clients are having great retention so they know it's not you and remind them the importance of cleaning them, etc.

Hi Guys!! First I want to say I tell everyone about how great and informative your page is for lash artist. But the issue I'm having is low humidity and I'm unsure what to do about it. The room is always 27%-31% it never reaches 40%. What could I do?

you can use a low humidity glue and also use a humidifier to bring more moisture into the air ♥

Nakita Davis you should buy lash box la glue aid, it’s a true game changer, once u use this retention problems due to low or high humidity will never be a problem, work with any glue it truly changed my retention and I no longer worry about humidity anymore 🥰

It just depends on your needs. I do believe it’s good to always have a clear glue on hand for sensitive clients ❤️ it’s free from carbon black!

It all depends on the client. If their lashes are dirty you can definitely wash and prime

Everyday to every other depending on if they wear makeup or not and how oily their skin is. :)

Always take your time and do what's most comfortable for you. Make your client aware from the start that it could be 2-3 hours or such. 🥰🥰
