loved my 2016. hopefully picking up a 2021. I f*******g love this car. 110k on 2016 with nothing but oil changes and a AC recharge

I miss the sunroof, but the 2020 EX Limited has a Bose audio system that is one of the best sounding systems that I've ever heard in a Kia.

I like the styling of the second gens more but like the tech and dash of the newer ones.

I wasn't sure about the front end of the current model, but I LOVE the LED headlights, and now I've grown to prefer the newer styling over the older model. Maybe it grows on people? Maybe not, but the Soul has always had people that either love or hate the look, but it regularly wins over people who don't like the look with its value, features, and comfort. It's a great vehicle.

Thank you very much for posting this video. My wife and I are very much interested in buying a 2020 Kia Soul. I was wondering the 2020 EV has auto dimming rear view mirror?

I believe the EV Limited model does. The EV Premium that I own does not. I just test drove a 2020 Soul (currently have a 2015 Soul) and noticed the model I drove did not have the automatic up windows for the front windows. Is that missing from all new Souls? Or just the lower end models? Also, I'm in the US if that matters.

I believe my Soul has auto down, but may not have auto up.

Does the screen support phone cast? I mean can we cast video through wi fi to the screen?

The 2020 Soul does have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but you cannot play movies through those systems.

Yes, Kia needs to add more lighting to the trunk space on the Soul.

Interesting. I own a Soul and haven't really thought about that too much. More is always better, I've just never felt that it was all that bad.

Not every Soul. Usually higher trims. The best thing to do is to check the spec sheet on the website, and it should list which cars have it, and which cars don't.

I hate that they changed the headlights on the 2020, the 2016 looked so much better. Also hate that they changed the brake lights, brining the lights all the way around looks cheaper. Also hate that they put that cheap piece of black plastic that says soul. Also hate that they took space away from cargo.. I like 2016 better.

Styling is certainly subjective. Some are going to like the new styling and some are not. I wasn't sure about the front lights either, but I own the 2020 Soul with the LED headlights, and while the styling may not be something that you like, the bright, white lights, are excellent when driving.

Probably not. I don't believe that any part of the Soul is shared. The structure is different.

I have a 2016+ and the space for the spare tire holds a full size spare with plenty extra room. I do a lot of driving so I like having a full size spare. The new Soul looks more aggressive. The front on the older models really needed an update, the large headlights really dated the car and the change with the rear lights was a good refresh. Manufacturers are switching over to the slim line front and rear lights and it really makes the car look sleek and up to date. I have wanted a Soul for years and it was great to finally get one. Would be nice to get better fuel mileage, I have been able to hit 29, but never able to get the 35mpg I got from my Optima. Soul has alot of space, but I feel like I’m playing Tetris when I load groceries 😄. With the car seats I’m not able to lay the seats down. So, next time around I will look and see what the Seltos has to offer. Either way, both are Kia, so I can’t complain.

I think the Kia Soul designers are aware that not everyone will like the styling. I will say that a lot of people really like the design when they see it in person.
