Last week we tried playing SC 3 nights in a row (a record for me) only the 2nd night was marginally ok...the last night had 4 x 30k crashes...had to restart SC every time.

I really do wish when a mission shows where you're going in the left panel of the mission details, that if you clicked the location it would then show in the right panel where that is on the starmap in relation to you, or at minimum the location have an addition line says how far away the location is. Otherwise, really looking forward to true cargo hauling!

I wonder what the calculator says about sniper glint. No effort for the defender, no reward for the infiltrator. I swear I try to give CIG the benefit of the doubt when I see them violate their own philosophies, and then they prove that they actually had a way to know, and didnt use it. Kinda like the level design video; Port Olisar was the only place that actually had flow and you could find things organically, and they trashed the design in favor of the zigzag AI one.

Need to fire the dev that wrote the RVR. I'm not spending an hour in game to make 4k aUEC. Nobody is going to give a single fuck about the new content if it isn't rewarding. I hear it in my org all the time, "hey let's do this bounty", "not worth the effort at 36k". CIG be shooting themselves in the foot constantly

4k is not for one hour but for 10 minutes. You can do 5-6 of these in an hour. Also do remember we don't want everything in game to be achievable in a few days otherwise we will just burn out within a month acquiring everything very fast.

@@djlord77 Talking out of your ass bud. You have no idea how many of these you can do in an hour because the referenced missions aren't out yet. Neither is the new cargo system that these will be using. If a single job won't cover a full set of gear, fuel, and a expedited insurance claim...it isn't worth touching, true risk vs reward. Also the ship price adjustments already insure that you'd have to have to grind 40 hours a week for 6 months to afford a decent hauler like the M2, so buying every ship in the game is a fever dream.

I’ve been following it since the earliest days, but doesn’t matter as every game gets numerically balanced regularly especially MMOs so these numbers are not fixed, I don’t understand the premature discussion when everything is bound to be balanced eventually.

Cool. There are lots of other games out there, like Elite Dangerous, one could play. It's simpler, less detailed, more arcady like game. No real depth. You either cargo, combat, travel, mining, or all above. Can't go wrong with that!

I am not sure if you saw the whole thing but even logic dictates that EVR is an algorithm and spreadsheet was just a front end demo for us to see how they are weighting out values, it's not the tool itself as what they have made is an algorithm. Also spreadhseets have scripts which run code like any compiler with built in debugging tools. We use spreadsheets with scripts in our tech industry everyday.

I love the 8 months a year we get less than nothing in terms of information so they can tell us all of it at CitizenCon and then not actually get them in the game the following year with the fidelity they hyped us on at CitizenCon.
