The famous boat chase from the 1973 James Bond movie "Live and Let Die" has very little music during this scene. In fact, film composer George Martin, once had a rendition of "Turkey in the Straw" embedded. A style of music that was first composed back in the 1830's and would be used in minstrel shows through the early 1900's. Martin would also use a portion of "Here Comes the Bride" for the wedding scene along the bayou. Both themes would be deleted eventually due to one reason or another but, thanks to the release of La La Land Records 50th Anniversary of the soundtrack, we have the complete score and how it might have played. The first part of this segment is the original theatrical cut of the boat chase with music beginning with the villainous Adam stealing the fastest boat on the river and ending shortly after the wedding scene. The second segment is the same scenes but with the deleted music added. This music will perform louder than some scenes with dialogue so one can hear the music.
