Finally saw these guys in the flesh.. this one was sooo good. The sound/volume jump at 1:35 sold it!

Been playing trumpet for the better part of my 58 years. This makes me want to just throw my horn away. LOL

just remember, much as we can think that we'd never improve. These guys mostly amateurs who play at pro standard. I play bass bone in a brass band, swing band n orchestra. The brass band MD is a bass bone player at this level. of I thought like this i'd never go to sit under him

Heard Steve Stewart play this at Brass in Concert live. I seriously didn't think he could get any louder. It was phenomenal .

Saw Cory a few weeks ago in Truro (Cornwall). What a tonic👍. Impressive indeed. First time I’ve found this and really loved it.

So Ive been listening to covers of this song for a little bit. My feeling is the definitive version has yet to be created. Someday, someone is gonna knock this tune outta the park so hard it'll make Paul McCartney cry. Can't wait.

+Catherine Smith i am from London,UK, once I've stumbled upon the pop-brass band concert in the club called "Rich Mix" in part of the London called "Shoreditch", and I started to sing along with them, composing lyrics on the spot,, and it was brilliant, I've no idea why nobody sings with brass bands, I know for sure that it works, I did it. Where are you from?

How many split notes!
@stevestewart67024 жыл бұрын
How many did you count?
@TheSproutarian3 жыл бұрын
@@stevestewart6702 there was only a tiny one at around 1:16. No others. It is just one of those things when one plays a brass instrument, no matter how good you are, it happens. I used to hate it when l split my notes or mispitched them...sometimes i'd say bad words hehe.

And actually, Cory is rated to be the best brass band in the world. And brass bands are like 100 times better and more common than woodwind bands!!!
