I was at Makuhari Messe for the concert where this was filmed (28/1/23, 29/1/23) and it was absolutely breathtaking to see live. I got chills seeing and hearing them perform it live; Su's stage presence is so immense it's kind of overwhelming. I flew from Australia to see them, and it was worth every cent. There is nothing like Babymetal live. The audio on this video is the studio version overlayed over the video of the live concert. Regarding the new member, I'm pretty sure that its happening; or at least sure enough that I've already booked a flight for the April 1 & 2 shows. At the end of the first night at Makuhari Messe, Su and Moa walked up to two crystal coffins and stood in front of them, and then the lights went out. On the second night they did the same thing, but then a third coffin rose up out of the floor between the other two coffins, and a third figure appeared and climbed the stairs to join Su and Moa standing in front of the coffins. The way it was lit, you could not see who the third figure was, but they had twin tails like Moa. The current popular and prevailing theory is that Momoko Okazaki will be the new third member, since she has been Avenger for far longer than anyone else, and also she is available to do it, whereas Riho Sayashi and Kano Fujihira are both busy with other projects. There are some diehard Yui stans who still believe that Yui is coming back, but that's very much a minority opinion. Personally, I lean toward Momoko being the most likely, but I did talk to some people after the concert who were down the end of the venue, and they thought that the third figure ascending the steps was not Momoko, so make of that what you will.

She paid her dues to earn this honor and totally deserves to become the third member, we love Momoko-Metal 🍑❤️ There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better. Now that you mentioned about Rammstein, i remember an interview SuMetal talked about them and she was in awe watching their show and the level of execution with all the pyro and fire around and how well it was timed everything they done. Go for the "A BabyMetal Guide" by CrypticMisery, right now we can't say is updated anymore but at least is the most updated until early 2021 and focus on the project and there's no other guide around that can match it. Several drones were flying around all over the venue. Once this opening song got started, I had too much goosebumps and was about to turn into a real goose 😄. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. Oh oh oh o o o. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video. After this opening, 3 girls performed with Momoko Avenger, one of support dancers. You saw 3 thrones. Yes, they are going to change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌

From the songs they have released so far and the short parts of the other songs I have heard I really think they are highlighting Su-metal's vocals as the main focus of the album (outside of whatever the concept itself may be). And rightly so, I've always loved her voice, but she has simply matured and improved and extended her range ... and Moa's vocals supporting her are just gorgeous. This is the opening track on the album and, of course, the huge, theatrical opening number for the concerts. They played two sold out concerts at Makuhari Messe last weekend and this was filmed at those - as that was less than a week ago they have used the studio audio for this 'official video' .... but it is still epic.🤘🦊🤘 As for the guide - yes please do it ("All you need to know about Babymetal" by Cryptic Misery). It is about 40 minutes long and it will take you up to about April 2021 - we can fill in the details of what has happened since after you've watched it. Interesting what you said about paying for a show like this. I went to the Makuhari Messe website and found that the tickets where 15,000 Yen each. Which is roughly $150. I would pay that. Unfortunately you would have to go to Japan also, because I do not think they could take a show that size overseas. But I would not mind a visit to Japan so it may happen yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if there will be a cinema-quality show film released at some point. I, for one, will be right there for it.

You'd likely have to go to Japan to see this set or any of their shows of this quality. Seeing BM is a small venue would kick ass too though.

Ticket prices may be large. However, I went to these concerts and they were worth every frick’n dime! Frankly, you need to react to the guide for basic knowledge and appreciation of BM. I can’t wait until they come here agin, although my retirement fund may take a huge hit.

There has been two previous times I have said Su has never looked and sounded so beautiful to me. 1st was Legend S No Rain No Rainbow. 2nd was Legend M Shine. Now I HAVE to add a 3rd time. Su looked beyond enchanting and sounds amazing. I mean look at 8:20. That Beautiful Death Glare. Moa as always is beautiful and I love her English pronunciation Like I said before her voice is pure warmth. Moa at 7:43 so powerful. What I would have given to be there. I adore both these women. They are perfect. I am going to have to copy and paste most of my comment because I have a feeling I am going to be seeing many reactions 🤘🦊🤘

Nice reaction. The drone clips are really cool. When Babymetal started in 2010 those kinds of clips wouldn't have been good. If possible, at all. Somethings are better today. Speaking of better today. Su has only gotten better over the years and Moa too. The fact that you thought those backing vocals were Su and Not Moa. Shows how far Moa has come. I figured Moa had to be learning just from being around Su. Her vocals improved and she sounds even more like Su now than ever. When Koba wanted Moa in Babymetal it was because of her compatible voice to Su and her twin like appearance with Yui. Now Su and Moa have returned after their extra-long break. An amazing start to the concert with this majestic performance. The throne chairs are definitely a version of the game of throne chair. A seat of power that was made not to be comfortable in. A reminder that even the ruler will have problems. Su is stunningly beautiful sitting in it singing. Moa comes in like she just returned from another metalverse. With her own honor guard. Here we get some good looks at another thing she learned from Su. The Death Stare. We also get a peek at Moa's kawaii smirk because Moa is going to be Moa. She can only hold a Death Stare for just so long. We want to see her smile with those dimples anyway. Babymetal don't usually tour with these big stage productions. And tend to do a stripped-down version of it. During the last tour they did do a big stage production in the LA Forum. Maybe this time we'll get a few big shows around the world. I'm hoping a world tour will be announced. They keep adding dates to schedule so only the fox god knows.

They think this is what their fans deserve, and they are naming the new member April 1 Fox Day, we think but it seem pretty certain. I think it has to be Momoko but there is the usual non sense that it will be Yui. If it is not Momoko I think that would be a pretty cruel thing to do to her after everything she has put in, the fans all love her as well

I have no vested interest in this, but if you are going to react to one of the guides, then do Cryptic Misery's: "Everything You need to Know About Babymetal - A Babymetal Guide". it runs around 40 minutes. There is a shorter version, but it is far less informative. It runs about half the time, but often leaves the viewer with more questions than answers. If you are going to invest 20 minutes, then do the right thing, grab some popcorn and settle in for the 40 minutes. Babymetal fans will join you for the journey.
