Hello and welcome to the channel! If you’re new here, a big warm friendly welcome and we hope you enjoy our Videos and Live Streams. Originally from Liverpool UK, me (Andrew The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago, and enjoy showcasing the island and our general life in the Canary Islands as well as travelling abroad.
Join me and Laura in Los Gigantes for a sunset walk and some drinks in the Tenerife sunshine! We start off showing the Sun going down over La Gomera before driving down into Los Gigantes Harbour where we discovered a wonderful Gin and Wine Bar!

We stay in Los Gigantes every year since 2013.... We love the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, great views, great weather, good selection of bars and restaurants, we come back completely chilled! Will be there in middle of November for a couple of weeks, your live stream tonight whetted our appetite, thanks Andrew and Laura 👍

I totally agree with Laura, go for the all inclusive if you like a drink and get a bargain ……. Breakfast and drink 🍹 soon makes up if you do get a good deal and then eat out in the evening 😊 We generally go self catering or B&B to explore but a few years back we got a hotel in Mallorca for £50 more for the week for A.I over S.C so we did it, still explored, ate out but spent a little more time by the pool playing cards, scrabble etc and saved a fortune 😂😂 We got quite addicted to our vodka slushies though 😮😮

Sunday lunch for us has got to be the Sun Inn Torviscas, we caught a taxi down on the first week of our holiday, from El Mirador and we waited for over an hour but couldn't get in because everyone want's to eat between 6.00 and 8.00 pm, so came down early on the next sunday and got in, it was lovely, but don't make the mistake of ordering the country chicken soup for a starter, it was like a bowl of stew lol it done me in😂

Brilliant vlogg as always couldn't have done sugar water (sweet wine). But maybe a cocktail 🍸. You never fail to entertain us sat her in the u.k start of wintery nights . But we did go to Blackpool yesterday an see the northern lights. Xx We would like to wish Andy Chatt get well soon wishes x

#catchup looks nice there , glad you enjoyed another one on the list to visit when over again 👍👋👏🏻we went half board this time so had couple of meals out but next time might book an apartment and try self catering as not big drinkers and as you say plenty of €9.95 menus to try 👍

A nice contrast to the hustle of Las Americas, brought back many memories of our day visit using your Taigo! It looks like a great place to watch the sunset very calming even watching through the TV. Great variety of channel content Andrew. Thank you both.

My other half always carries the wine additive with her nowadays, couple of drops per glass and she has no bad head in the mornings, just booked for November 23, seems a long way away but something to look forward to 👍👍

Not strictly true about access Andrew, the buses from by Tipsey Terrace are great, very frequent, cheap and friendly (get an electronic bus pass fora good discount). Having a rent a car is ok but as you know parking can be difficult, although we did see a gathering of motorhomes at the back of the LG hotel.

We were at the LG hotel two weeks ago, still missing it. There is a great walk on the seafront through to Alcala and beyond PLUS there is a great little bar on the coast path not too far from Alcala.

With tha amount of great places to eat in Tenerife and the really good value prices ,the best thing to do is to go self catering .

The sun rises a bit later there because of the cliffs, incidentally the opening shots straight out to La Gomera are of Puerto Santiago, not Los Gigs. TJ’s by the hotel is a good one.
