A Chinese state media broadcaster, CCTV, has released an animated video showing the bombing of Taiwan by the Chinese military. The video shows Chinese jets loaded with live ammunition and bombers carrying out simulated strikes on the island nation. Meanwhile, China has also launched two days of military exercises around Taiwan, which Beijing refers to as "punishment drills" against "separatist activities" of the island nation. China's People’s Liberation Army has stated that these drills are designed to test its ability to "seize power" over the island. This comes just days after Taiwan sworn in its new President, Lai Ching-te, who, in his address, called upon Beijing to stop threatening Taiwan. On Vantage tonight, Palki Sharma tell you more.

The Orphan of Asia refers to Taiwan which was invaded and colonized by Japan in around 1894. The clonization by Japan last for about half a century。Taiwan was then separated from China since 1894 until 1945. So dont be fooled by those Taiwanbots spreading misinformation.

In our eyes, Japan in 1985 and China in 1945 both occupied and colonized us due to postwar arrangement that we had no say at all. No longer the case. After 1996, we elect and renew authorization to our government and congress every 4y, and the troops are no longer affiliated to a political party. Chinese netizens, go back to your dreams where your propaganda is music to your own eyes.

No she didnt just compare the Palestinian situation to Taiwan. All Taiwan has to do is distance themselves lightly from the US and act an intermediary between the US and China. Also, they are armed to the teeth; Palestinians are not. Taiwan is more akin to Israel than Palestine and both are backed to the healm by the US.

China's actions should be called in the international court. If Taiwan is Chinese property then nothing can be done, but if Taiwan is free then China should be stopped. And whole world should come together to stop China as it's aggression is troubling many countries not just Taiwan. Countries who are under debts from China are also going to suffer as they create debt trap for them. India, Bhutan, Myanmar and other countries in South China sea are suffering China's expansion. This is not a problem just for one country. Just because China have manufacturing units should not be giving any freedom to oppress other poor countries.
