I had Nucleus Lite when the price went down to $79.99 last February. Now they have a Black Friday sale to upgrade from Lite to Core for $179. I have Core now. I have Cloud Composer "student version" (East West) and all the free Spitfire such as BBC Symphonic Discover. No need to spend anymore. Gotta focus on practice and learning.

40:25 at least in Jaeger you can go above and below the intended range by extending it in the advanced tab.

Are you able yo have the piano roll under a reference audio track? Is that hard to set up? Also are you using an ethernet box with samples loaded in another laptop or are you able to get it all done in one laptop?

Thanks for the live episode! I have a question about kontakt and midi outputs however. I know how to load different instruments into one instance of kontakt, but how do I control each instrument with the mod wheel? When I record in the mod wheel it only records into midi input 1 and because of this I have to load in multiple instances of kontakt which eats up my cpu. How could I fix this?

Hey Alex, I know there's a way to select by color (Select a color and then shift-c) but is there a way then to remove items from a selection? For example I see you in 1:03:00 selecting the melody note by note because it's hidden in the blue progression... And it would be easier to select all yellow and then remove the part you don't want... But I haven't found a way yet.

Shift + C selects all the notes of the currently active color if I'm not wrong. More info about that on my shortcuts video

I believe those were just colored notes that he later on copied to their respective instruments piano rolls

Hello Alex I love your channel, great work. I really like nucleas but for me as a beginner it is a bit expensive. I found the UVI orchestral suite ( I have got UVI workstation to use with logic pro). Do you know anything about this suite, is it any good for a beginner?

Works on any DAW, FL studio included. All you need is Kontakt player.

It's for different midi channels for if you have a library with different instruments.

Like Chris said, the shortcut is Shift+C, but if you want to see it for yourself, open Piano Roll, go to the down arrow in the top left, hover mouse over Select, and Select By Color will be on there. Just know that it will select notes using whatever color you currently have on. So if you want the pink notes, make sure you select that color first.

At 2:50 Alex is using Spitfire LABS-piano. I installed it also but an error message exists every time so I can't use LABS piano. Do you have idea how to fix this ?

How do you use that Dynamics Control? I don’t have that. All I have is Velocity, volume, pitch. And is it possible to use the volume or velocity control to do essentially the same thing you’re doing with the dynamics?

Nucleus is compatible with Kontakt Player, so no, you won't get that.

@@WrektSK thats incorrect. Nucleus has woodwinds, unlike Jaeger, which are a very very important part in orchestral writing. You are basically missing out on a whole pallete of colour. They're just different.

I liked that someone asked if you could make a video using Hollywood Strings. I'd appreciate that aswell, and I guess many other subscribers would too, since most of us don't have enough money to buy a decent allrounder like Metropolis Ark for example. But getting a really good sound with the EWQL Hollywood series is pretty hard and I would be really thankful for any advice on how to achieve that sound...
