*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is an amazing book about wood working. I took several classes and completed a one year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is better than any book I worked out of during those courses. It includes useful photos and goes over almost everything.

Funny, because my wife and I have been thinking about replacing our dining room table marble top we’ve had for 34 years. The table was custom made in Italy, but the corner broke off recently, and even though I fixed it, we’re feeling it’s a bit too small. A new top is about $10,000. But this gives me some ideas. For a dining room table, the glass cut in is too delicate. But putting 1/2” glass on top would fix that. Two live edge wood pieces underneath gives a similar effect while being easier and sturdier. Well, I guess I have to clean my shops so I can have room to do a 4 foot by 8 foot table.

This was by far the most amazing creation I've ever seen. Combining many techniques to achieve something so beautiful looked very worthwhile and I cant even begin to imagine how satisfied they must have felt having created it. Also that finish on the wood is just icing on the cake.

John Malecki I agree, the music was a little too loud when compared to the voice over. Granted, it's past 3 am and I'm watching this in bed.

True, if you look at the audio waveform, the music is clipping to the point of distortion, while the voice over is way below that. That is easy to fix with a free audio editor such as Audacity. Otherwise, great video, thank you.

Do you release versions of these videos without music? I really wasn't feeling the music for this video to be honest, but the project does look very interesting. I was thinking something like noises of the machines running with the same sort of play by play commentary as you had in this video.

I typically do not. The radio in the shop is playing copywritten music I get slapped for by YT and some parts are so Loud with tools it’s tough. Thanks for the input tho

Great job on the table, however the volume ratio of you speaking to the music is way off. I constantly have to turn down the loud music, and turn it u to try to hear you speak. Loud music in tutorials can be really off putting.

Unfortunately that's now "how to", it's "how it's made". "How to is referred to "how to do it yourself" and this one can't be done by a normal person.

It's awesome I found this channel just before moving to PGH! I just heard from a job I've been working towards getting for the last 7 months and they offered me the position. I can't wait to move up and enjoy the city. I also got into woodworking recently and can't wait to learn more once I have my own place to work on.
