That gliding segment was super interesting and exciting, love me some dogfighting goblins; but my girl Morna didn't deserve what came to pass. I don't know about you, but taking into account our Rogue friend's... connections both to her and the divine agents, it wouldn't surprise me if this isn't the end for dear old Morna, our favorite super normal barbarian. There have been so many TTN moments that can bring tears like Orba searching for Earland and giving up to instead help Graven get more of his family back in campaign one but if you exlude the mini campaign this is the first official death of a PC that is confirmed and that is a moment that will always bring tears at the table.

This was just... I have no words. At first, I couldn't believe it happened; I was in utter denial followed by entirely confused, and finally, I was simply devastated. I was in tears; tears that wouldn't stop flowing for the entire first half of the chapter. It speaks volumes about how much a piece of media has impacted you if it has managed to bring you to tears. I have seen Diedre undergo so much as Morna and I wanted so much to see her story through - I wanted to see Morna grow even more as a character. There was still so much of her story left to tell, and I could feel the hurt Diedre was feeling... this was all so devastating. You have all created something special here. Love you all.

Wasn’t able to catch the episode live but I watched it on Monday in the background at work and when I saw THAT moment the person next to me asked if I was okay because I audibly gasped…luckily the person who works next to me is my sister so awkward convo avoided. RIP Morna!

I have not cried this hard over a character in a long time. Morna was my favourite and I cannot fathom that she won’t be here. You guys have to revive her somehow, please, even if she’s an awkward goblin-friendly zombie or ghost, I don’t care, keep Morna alive please😭😭😭 Deirdre, I cannot imagine how you feel, but we all absolutely adore you, no matter who you play.

Was literally in tears, Our poor Morna!! T.C. pleading and Illien talking to her along the way as utterly heart-wrenching. She will be sorely missed but at the very least, she gets to see her family again and is finally free.

I dont know that I can watch this again. 😢. Always looking forward to Sunday. But a little less this week. Mornas story is the one I was most invested in. But you all are still great so Im not going anywhere. 😊

@@tabletopnotchfollow up comment. It was worth the rewatch. Sunday I was distracted by the sadness and wasn't focused. So being able to rewatch the glider battle was very enjoyable. Such a creative battle had not the Morna thing happened I'm sure all the talk this week would have been how cool it was. 😎

Dee-yam it. Guna miss the ackward dynamic duo TC and Morna. However, plot twist, she returns as a villian. Goes ham on the town of Brunkhollow. Her character did fall near the stautes. Not just one but 3. So maybe. Best GM Matt. Lets the dice always tell the story. Well done everyone.

Can't help but think that this wouldn't have happened if everyone focused on fighting instead of bothering with the cage :/ Eh, there was also that silly safe trap with a bunch of damage... And it went unsolved... Also, the gobbos kept talking about revival magic. Anyone thinks that they maybe had something or were they full of it?

Oh, I don't think you understand. Here, let me explain Mr Welker. She was living, but that state has changed to dead and will not be returned to. As such she can no longer go swimming for instance, because she is dead. Nor can she go hang-gliding as just another random example. She can however lay very still and not breath, which would be a benefit to the swimming if she could swim, but which she can't, because she is dead. Does that clear things up?

I’m on the side of Morna’s death being super sad and I want her to stay, but to be this aggressive is too much. They work hard and do they’re best, for you to be like this is just unfair. Character deaths are a part of dnd and if you can’t accept that, watch a different show.

@@sloppytoppy3000 Player Character Deaths don't have to be a part of D&D. Especially not permanent deaths, in this homebrew campaign they could have the Chewingas be able to Resurrect her. I've tried to watch many different D&D campaigns here on KZfaq. Many of them have problems that interfere with my enjoyment; some it's because they have individual cameras instead of group cameras, others it's because the audio is bad so can't understand/hear things properly, some are too blatantly political, but many others they allow permanent player character deaths. The last reason mentioned is why I quit watching Critical Role, unsubscribed, unliked all videos I liked before, blocked being recommended their content. As for Dimension 20 I liked and completed watching what few campaigns are free here on KZfaq. Though am upset with them for locking so much of their content behind pay walls. But their free campaigns NONE OF THEM HAD PERMANENT PLAYER CHARACTERS DEATH!!!

@@morrigankasa570a lot of words just to say you can’t handle the fact people do things in a way you don’t like. Here’s the thing; if this is how you treat the people who are putting out free entertainment for you to enjoy, I doubt they’ll miss you when you block them lol. Go play your own dnd game with no permanent deaths if that’s what you want, but I doubt you have many friends with how you act. Also, incorrect that dimension 20 didn’t have permanent deaths, they did. Crown of candy comes to mind, Emily’s character dies. Also dimension 20 is made for most people to enjoy, so there’s no pushing the line or boundaries. Also, if you don’t like political stories in dnd, you’re a boring sad person and probably a straight white dude.
