Hello Bob, Happy New year to you from a native Floridian. I live on Chiefland Florida on land that has been in the family since 1958. Lived here when I was young and came back to Chiefland in 2001. Lived in a Coleman pop up camper set up in an old tin building that was built around 1947 or so. Love in it for seven years and then moved into an older fifth wheel camper that I put where the house used to be. Been in it for 12 years now so I am camping everyday. Was a Florida State Park Ranger for fourteen years and retired when I turned 62. Love watching all your shows.

Hey Bad Bob how are ya!!! I been living in Montana my whole life. Been a Hard Rock miner most of my adult life. Bought Property in 76’ here in the Mountains. Built a Large 50’x70’ shop. And Cut out into the Hillside behind it 16’ high x 40’ length x 24’ wide. Filled 8” concrete frame work and sealed it in with Hot water in floor heat. Non taxable sq. footage unknown never part of the shop however connected. I pulled a new 38’ Fifthwheel in there, so it’s cozy without much heat in 20 below zero weather. If I want to go camping I am never outside my realm.

Since I didn't start watching your video until a couple of weeks ago, I missed this, and the deadline to donate to the RTR. SO... I went to the homes on wheels alliance website and donated there!!! You all should too! Bob, you are inspiring, and now I'm dreaming of doing this once I retire from teaching, in 5 more years. I can begin to prepare now! THANK YOU!

Bob, I tried to donate $15 and it stated that you can no longer donate. I think you ought to have an open donation at all time! Wish I could be with you all at the WRTR & RTR! I have to take care of my 93 yr old Dad, but will hit the road when he no longer needs me. I thank God daily for your videos that gave me ideas & hope to live a different way to live! ...still looking for a Chevy High top van.The prices still keep going up👆. I loved when you said it’s not the age that matters but your body. So true. As someone in your age range I have seen people my age who can’t climb a flight of stairs to seniors running marathons. I’m a big believer in eating healthy and exercise to be healthy in old age. Take care of your body and it will take care of you.

I bought my oldest friend from Jr.High a birthday card recently that said, Happy Birthday, it takes a lot of years to become young.’ Think about it. So true in many ways.

I have a story about coyotes. When I was in my early twenties I was working on a job that a young female coyote was hanging around, after about a week she would gently take food from my hand and after that she would let me pet her, and she would come up and stay with me all day and follow my truck when I left, she became so loyal to me I really thought about just taking her home , but being young and stupid I didn't realize how much I was actually hurting her and making her a problem

I bought A nissan nv200 for 20k 2019 5year, 100,000 mile, 4 cylinder with CV transmission, 30 miles to a gallon. Doing my van build now. I love this van.

I dealt with coyote in Tucson roaming the city. They used to follow me on walks. I never felt nervous. I almost thought they were becoming so tame, they wanted me to take them home. It’s so cool there are coyotes there. I’m excited to get to the RTR.

Hi Bob, Christine from BC Canada here. Bought an older 24" Centurion class C motorhome last summer. Thanks to your inspiration, I am going to renovate it to suit my needs. I can't leave my home right now, I actually own a small 7 unit motel, it's my retirement plan, and my mom lives with me, she's 93, I'm 63 now. But, I am going to get my rig all ready and live in it in my yard for now. You have given me so many great ideas and advice. It will hard to wait to hit the road. Perhaps I can get away in the winter and head south. Great advice on getting my passport all ready. Thanks for everything, all the best to you.

Sorry Bob, I missed your live show, had too work. Catching up today, I have been in my van (Birgie) for 5 weeks now, loving life. I was blessed to buy my brothers conversion van for $ 2500, 1998 Chevy mac 3. 180000 miles, well cared for. Beautiful van. I would send pictures, but do not know how. Lol love ya Bob! GOD BLESS you!

In Arizona, a vehicle with windows closed will go over 170 - cooking temperature. People have literally cooked children and pets - for which it’s now a crime to leave a person or animal in a car in Phoenix or Tucson.

As a general rule, to stay safe you should pace yourself, not overexert, rest often, drink plenty of water and eat regularly throughout your hike. There are, however, some specific injuries and afflictions that you need to be aware of so that you can deal with them.

55:00mins here in LA there are a few safe parking lots for folks to spend the night in their car/van. And its expanding little by little. Often with 10-20 spots in a large lot. Santa Barbara has had them for a number of years. I think on a larger basis than here.

When I see my dog barking at a coyote that comes close to my property its very skinny or looks young. Surprisingly u said the one you saw was not. Hopefully people out there arent leaving food out. Seems like it was looking for food.

As a Nomadic compassionate Dads..do you have any tips on how to stay connected with one's children. Our society has finally recognized Dads are important. Abusive or dangerous parents of any gender are not healthy for kids.I know for safety reason one has to be protective of one's children identity. My Dad found a way to balance long work hours. While still being a loving Dad. Inspite of societal pressures for him to be a traditional Dad. Can you share your own tips or fellow Nomadic Dad tips on how to maintain loving connections with their children. While being on the move.

I have a question about those on Social Security. They require a mailing address not a PO Box, I think an address that’s a street address otherwise anything they mail to you that gets returned to them is grounds for withholding your check deposit. What do you suggest for the traveling nomad who Is receiving Social Security? Thank you.

Hi Bob. Consider getting yourself a pair of glasses specifically for reading the computer/phone screen. No bifocals, just the reading perscription. You won't have to lift your head up so high to read the screen. Then we wont see up your nose. LOL. Seriously though it is a huge help for me when I edit photos to ditch my bifocals while I work and just use the reading perscription.

It's a pity that some cities has to create laws to prevent people from living in their vehicles, but when there is to few public toilets or restrooms, the pollution of the streets becomes a problem and it is easy to push the problem solving on to the police. Happy New Year, guys!

Hi Bryan, I believe they have the donations set up with separate causes. There is a specific button (link) for land donations.
