So every comment that says "Live was underrrated", I have a rebuttal: They were not underrated. It's just that you were all not alive or too young. They were all over the radio in the mid-late 90s. Beats the hell out of the trash they call music today.

Live is a fascinating band. Their understanding of love is equally desperate and innocent, yet their lyrics involve body parts and fluids with enough frequency to raise the eyebrows of a death metal fan. A very accurate portrayal of the 90's: contradictory and visceral, innocent and macabre, beautiful in their quirkiness and yet unique and timeless.
@briankelley9872 ай бұрын
Absolutely. Live had songs that were both light and dark, possibly also masculine and feminine at the same time (I think NIN, Tool, and Tori Amos were other good examples for the time). The songs were anything but one-note, and I have no idea how a Spotify algorithm would try to classify their "mood."

Very few bands could represent the '90s like Live. They are in a class all by themselves. Those drums, the lead guitar. A signature sound that is unique to this day.

Such an interesting video for such a great song on such an amazing album. To me this video is a interpretation of society. When a person doesn't obey the social trends or follow what society finds "normal". They are treated like freaks and until they obey the "normal" way of thinking , feeling and creating. They will be treated as a freak and be force fed what society feels is normal. The end of this music video is a direct interpretation of that. Being held down and force fed what he didn't want to be apart of. As we all know the non excepted people are the first to be held down in life. Better drink up!!!!!
