I have crossed that bridge many times.Your video and commentary is excellent. I remember watching the construction of the Key Bridge in 1975-76. A HUGH loss. Prayers for the families of the men lost.

Steel that is twisted and turned in many different angles is very unpredictable and also very dangerous. It's definitely a hazardous situation that the salvage crew is facing. Slow and meticulous movement is the only way to proceed with anything that is under stress.

Fabulous view as always. Just an observation and it must be design by economy … who/what/where/when/how do you build LARGE ship with only one drive engine!!!!! I forge, but I think the US Navy when I was in during the ‘80’s we split thhe eelectcal load for maneuvering!

Question?: Would they try to swing the stern once the weight on the bow is reduced? Sort of slicing it off the mud - breaking the suction. I note that one of YT guys calculated a force of 750 tons would be needed to shift the Dali off the mud...

I'm going with a double pulse EMP attack that was carefully timed to precisely steer the Dail into the piling. This is based on the NTSB's preliminary report. that states the cause was a tripped complex electrical circuit breaker system engineered by Hyundai, as reported by another KZfaq channel.
