Weekends like these are what make me excited to go out each time. I am still jealous of how you seem to be a handheld magnet, too.

I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to start collecting and this weekend was my first garage sale weekend and I picked up 8 random games, an nes (With no chords), an Odyssey 4000, and donkey konga with two Bongos all for 30$. Thanks for the inspiration, I'm becoming addicted I would say.

What sucks in my area, and in most people's area, is that people over price things at garage sales. I mean it is a GARAGE SALE! You come there to buy things for cheap, not for more than it is worth!

Sorry for the new comment, but did you really pay 15 bucks for that GameCube bag, with everything?? HOLY CRAP! That's sooo cheap.

Finally got out to a block yard sale nice and early this past weekend and it was a bust:( I'll just have to live through you and your awesome finds for now!

SeeJay, I had a fantastic pickup the other day. Went to pick up a sweet ps one and ps2 lot off Craigslist. Got there payed for it, the guy asked me if I liked the "older" consoles, to which i said absolutely!! : ) So he brought it in, and there were 2 n64 systems, 4 controllers, 12 games, 1 nes, controllers and 15 games. Got the playstation and nintendo lots for $120. The Playstation lot had ALL of the Twisted Metal games in it for ps one and ps2. I was very pleased. I didn't have a ps2, so it was worth it.

Really nice stuff. Always jealous. Working overnights has been killing my yard sale hunting. Got out of work an hour late and kept hearing the old "oh we just had a box of stuff" so it was pretty frustrating. Did end up finding some 3ds games and a ds one though. For 25 dollars I got Yoshi's New Island (only like a two month old game) and Pokemon Platinum complete and then Pokemon Rumble Blast in a generic GameStop case so it was pretty successful. This weekend and last one have been good for 3ds stuff for me at least.

I'm so freakin jelaous at you guys, great prices on used stuff. Here in Hungary everybody milks the other ones, I can say that in this country it is impossible to colllect video games, you have to trade all the time...

Great finds again! I'm still actively seeking a psp 3000. I can't seem to find one anywhere and I fear I may have to buy a new one before they get too pricey. This is the one system I want to get into and start collecting for while it's cheap.

I don't have any of the FF games on SNES yet =( The one time I saw it at a garage sale, the lady was asking eBay prices on everything plus about 50% And good lord man, how many SPs is that for you thus far? My find of the weekend was Jurrasic Park Operation Genesis on the PS2 for $1.50, also got Super Punch Out at the same sale for the same price.

Amazing as usual! That dinner table is going to be sticky after all the maple syrup! I was a huge fan of Thrasher back in the day great skateboarding game. The Sonic game looks very interesting as well.

What is your early bird strategy? I heard you say that you normally pass on ads listing video games, but what if someone advertises something that really interested you such as a NES or SNES with games. In my area there seem to be around 100 sales on a good week and there is lots of competition. Hitting one of those advertised scores can easily make my whole week

Awesome finds. GameCubes go for 40 to 50 bucks in my area with no games you picked those bundles up pretty cheap!

I really need to find some more time to get out on Saturdays to the sales. I normally go Fridays while I am working but the sales are a lot more limited and I don't get to them very early. Well done my friend well done! I have had dreams like that as well. I have had dreams where I was digging through someones overfilled garage and just finding turbo, neo geo, and extremely rare stuff...Then I wake up and I am upset :(

I have been looking for a purple game cube for a wile. I found one today at a local sale for 5 bucks but the controllers was beat and the console wasn't great either.... Sad when people treat their stuff like crap.

Thoses madcatz controllers for the gamecube sell for a bit on money and they are fantastic controllers :)

That last $20 box was an amazing deal! I got told today a lot today that they sold all their old games at their last sale. I'm a loser. I still want rock n roll racing, can't ever seem to find it.
