Thousands in Iran took to the streets to mourn the demise of President Ebrahim Raisi. His 3-day funeral, scheduled to take place in his birthplace Mashhad on Thursday, commenced today. While Raisi's death has left his well-wishers grief-stricken, some Iranians were also seen celebrating the news. Raisi's critics started a hashtag "fall of the butcher" to mock the late hardline ruler. Raisi was a protege to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini. His death has left a void in the regime. According to the Iranian constitution, in case of a President's death, an election must be held in the next 50 days to bring in a successor. Iran is due to elect its next President on June 28, the nominations for which will be filed between May 30 and June 3. This will be a crucial election for the regime. I am stunned by your analysis on the Pune accident Palki. Do you think this boy is really minor, or do you think police would have offered pizza in the police station to just any boy who would have committed the same crime, or the court would have done the hearing on sunday for any boy from the normal family let alone be out on bail within 15 hours. He has committed a heinous crime and should be treated like a criminal. I have expected unbiased reporting here, its really unfortunate to see how media houses are trying to create a soft image of a criminal just because he was driving a Porsche.

I'm also surprised that she didn't point out the "Special" treatment given by the cops to this BRAT, just because he's Ritchie rich who blew ₹48 K on food & booze at a Bar...Very unlike Palki...🤨🤔 - She should have emphasized the fact that "Driving Is A Privilege, Not A RIGHT"! In the US, one must possess a 'learner's permit' & must have a licensed driver 21 years of age or older in the front passenger seat while driving. Each of the 50 States in the US have the autonomy to set its legal driving age, which typically ranges between 16 and 18 years, but all follow the common LAW of issuing learners PERMIT for under age drivers. Why do we take driving for granted in India?

Even though the 17 year old boy in Pune did not plan to kill two innocent people riding a bike, he willingly recklessly endangered many people and managed kill two people. The worst part of this behavior is that the only reason the car is stopped because it hit a median, this boy did not stop the car after the accident. This has been a problem (particularly) in India. The morally, ethically, and professionally corrupt parents ( one can guess how a builder gets rich) raise a male child with no proper guidance and allow all kinds of bad behavior, including covering up his mistakes which they tried even in this case. When a person commits a major crime that person should be prosecuted for that time irrespective of his age. This spoiled kid is not going to learn his mistake and mend his ways. A sensible, intelligent and studios 17 year old will not celebrating by drinking in a bar. What is he celebrating? how he cheated in the exams or how his parents could buy him the test question papers? I hope PM Modi brings this type corruption down and transform India from despicable to a decent society.

Driving while drunk is same like someone who’s drunk shooting gun in public which will eventually leads to someone’s death, regardless of someone driving Porsche or Peugeot if someone drives while drunk & kills someone than that person must get a lengthy prison sentence weather that person is 14 or 40 years old, law is there to protect & bring justice for innocent victims, wondering what’s the actual reason behind Palki defending a reckless rich brat 🙄

The real problem is that just because he had a Porsche & he was rich, he was almost able to get away with it. The Porsche mindset is in Vedant Agarwal's mind that he is rich and can get away with anything. Not in the public's opinion. This is what it was : if anybody saw the visuals , you will see that the weather was terrible. Nobody should have nern flying during this time. Here's the rational info: Intellitimes blog reveals that Iran fitted President Raisi with a government helicopter based on a military Bell 412EP equipped with 4 rotors, depending on the size and number of passengers in this version, but on the day of the crash it was observed with only two rotors, similar to the Bell 212, indicating a change which was made in a helicopter possibly because of shortage of original parts or a poorly made upgrade.This means that the helicopter that was originally designed to carry 10 passengers using a propulsion force created by 4 rotors took off that morning, with 9 passengers, with propulsion power from only 2 rotors and in weather and wind conditions that did not match its original design. George Kirsten, a Vietnam war veteran helicopter pilot, who has flown the bell 212 helicopter noted it is poorly equipped for IFR (Instrument Flight Rules).

I might disagree to it since the outrage doesn't seem to be with who did it but rather the punishment given to him. And yes it would be wrong to say that this punishment given has nothing to do with the status of the family. I still don't doubt your ability to judge things but it seems like many of us will be disagreeing to what your thoughts are on the Pune case. For the first time disagreeing with Palkis Pune accident incident analysis. This guy is 17 and done with his boards and went on galivanting to more than one pub and spend 48k in Alcohol and Food and then drove a sports car at 160, basically what some adults do. Driving slightly faster can sometime even be understandable but driving at 160 In Indian Roads what the hell was he thinking. Wait he wasn't he was drunk. Treat him as an adult and do a proper trial not because he was driving a Porsche but he killed 2 young people who were the future of their middle class families R.I.P.

Ma'am I don't agree with the opinion voiced on the Pune accident. As you rightly pointed out, any heinous crime committed by a person above the age of 16 should be tried as an adult. If he was capable of doing adult activities such as drinking at a pub (the permissible age to do so by law is 25) and driving a car (Permissible age 18) then he should be tried as an adult for the accident he caused which has resulted in the loss of two innocent lives. Letting him off with a bare minimum punishment is not the answer and this would encourage people to drink and drive even more. A perpetrator should be held and punished irrespective of what car he/she was driving, there must be justice for the loss of innocent lives. He has broken three laws before actually causing the accident, this is not a fender bender that can be let off with a slap on the wrist.

Based on the videos and other information available, it is my opinion that the crash happened as a result of a multiple human errors coming together. Flying a helicopter in stormy weather, near zero visibility, and mountainous regions where the height of the peaks is just not visible, and the bravado of the entire flight crew and the management at the technical and political level have caused this disaster. Unless of course they find indisputable evidence of deliberate sabotage, deliberate shoot-down or a technical problem. Thanks.

Looks like you forgot her father's sperm, the other 50% which led to her birth. Going by what you said, you should thank her father's... as well. Palki gave away her true colors when she said the boy couldn't be tried as an adult nor should he be punished for the car he was driving. I was expecting her to say why only the boy's father was arrested but not his mother for that bad upbringing, but no, her intentions are only to save the boy who killed two innocent people, his parents and everyone who wants to cover this up. Either government should ban these high speed vehicles or when we are developing then government should focus on very high quality roads as government is charging very high quality taxes. So yes we deserve high quality, roads and safety for Buses a separate Road for cyclist a separate road For heavy vehicles, a separate road and for automobiles which are car SUV, Infrastructure of India is not at all ready for this vehicle. Speed Thrills but Kills is absolutely Wrong Message Countries Drivers should enjoy Speed & Thrills is good experience it makes a person stronger gives new dimension to one. But yes our country is Doing Good our Government 🙏 must stop infra road projects and update them for better Safety Better Driving Experience and at the same time design them with Philosophy that accidents can’t happen on our road system System is so that Rules can’t be broken who breaks he deserves price rather then jail, his rule break found scope of improvement in safety System/hack/glitch/flaw so government and society don’t get angry but a common goal to fix so next one can’t do that.

Pune : drink, drive, hit case : I feel Palki's logic of punishment and vengeance is screwed here , if you are in an age where you understand the concept of " mistake" and "death" , then irrespective of type of car or wealth you have, you deserve an equivalent punishment for the mistake which killed 2 people
