The Indian stock markets have hit a rough patch, with Sensex and Nifty plunging 2% respectively since the beginning of May 2024. The market turbulence comes in the middle of India's ongoing general elections, a factor often associated with the mood of a country's equity markets. Reacting to the current market situation, India's Union Home Minister Amit Shah and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar have said that the markets will bounce back after the results. However, there are other factors that could have contributed to this decline, too. Foreign investors are exiting the country's stock markets, with investments worth $2 billion being taken out in the last week alone. Are election jitters causing the Indian markets to slide, or are there financial factors at play? Should you be worried about its trajectory? Palki Sharma tells you on Vantage.

Just make WFH mandatory for private sector. (or make it hybrid for those who feel more productive in office). 1) Air pollution via traffic will reduce/ Traffic jams will reduce 2) People will have more time for there family 3) Population density will scatter from T1 cities. T2 & 3 cities will see development 4) Property inflation will stabilize

I am actually disappointed with the way people are behaving like illiterates on social media right now. They cant do the basic math that if India alliance forms gov it wont have majority and then country's growth will stall. Markets will crash. 28 partiyon ki sarkar aane pe yaad hai na kya hota hai? 90s bhool gaye? Har 1-2 saal mein PM badlenge, ghotale honge, economy thapp ho jayegi. Poori duniya India ko growth engine maan rahi hai. Poori duniya chahti hai ki India developed country ban jaye. Bas tumhari ek bevkoofi ki wajah se wo mauka nikal jayega.

Being a neighbour to China and being more ethnically related to them, we may be unhappy with its current economic crisis BUT with its bullying actions in the South China sea, we are doing otherwise. We cheer for their economic predicament instead and wish for further downfall. However, we don't disregard the fact that our country, the Philippines is more aligned to the west politically and administratively. It is the democratic governments especially the western ones that have transformed China economically both with their investments to it and their economic format. It's time they show China who made it prosperous financially. We protest China violating our rights to the seas (UNCLOS) bullying us with their communist military might that is empowered by democratic financial wealth and methodology.
