Hello Jamie. just thought ide give you a big thumbs up for your posts, your camera and voice is very clear. I was once a sponsored angler myself due to being noticed for my many open match wins in the Midlands. Unfortunately I suffered ill health but without going into the ins and outs of my recovery I've fished 2 matches and 2 wins with an invention I've managed to keep secret. Keep your films coming mate and hopefully I'll get noticed again and get another sponsorship as the last company had all there priorities wrong. Hope to see you on the bank one day. Tight Lines!

Jamie what can I say !! A star is required for you sir . To dig in and nab one at the end is what you said at begining and stuck at it ...... You have learned me a lot today , my club match lake is fishing hard and I finished 2nd 3rd this year on pole but the lads who win always sit it out on tip for 2 or 3 fish . I've tried and have 1 but then after 2half hrs I start to think I better jump on pole and try for some roach , skimmers etc . 😡 I don't know maybe I should go one and leave pole at home but then I would probably go crazy with myself ha ha ..... Any advice Jamie please ?

+Andy Watts Oh thanks for the kind words Andy. Haha it's a difficult one and it's one I could talk about for hours! Confidence is key and the two main things that works for me is confidence that your fishing in the right place and that you are using the right bait. If I believe they are both right, then I will stick with it and especially at this time of hour, the next vital issue is timing. More often than not, the last 30 minutes of a match is highly likely to be your best time. It just comes with time on spent on the bank mate.

+Feeder Fishing Channel Jamie cheers for taking time to write back I appreciate it .... I think I will go down and practice more on the feeder on there , hopefully I'll get it right soon . Although it will be a little while as broke my leg last Wednesday falling Down bank ha ha . But that's life I guess 😖🤕

Hi Jamie just found your channel really enjoying your videos, was wondering on the southfields windswept match you faced into the wind with your rod pointing the same way, was the tow going the other way? It made me wonder if it was better to have a bow in the line from the tip going away from you or towards you? I hope this question makes sense.plus how do you aid bite detection in such weather I fish Bough beech a lot and the waves constantly batter the mainline making it hard to detect bites even with braid I have the rod tip as low to the water as possible but this can make it worse as the tip gets submerged by waves! any tips would be great.Many thanks keep up the good work

+paul VICARY Hey Paul, thanks for watching the channel and thanks for the message! Haha oh I'd love to blind you with science but no I always sit facing that way it's purely preference mate. You'll probably notice from pics that a lot of the top anglers do the same but they sometimes face a different way if the conditions are severe and they turn their back on the wind simply for comfort mate.

Wind swept and interesting! You would have been better off with a surf-board at the end of that match! Sometimes you just have to batten down the hatches and stay focused. Well done Jamie.
