Great video, thanks for all the tips on rigs etc. One tip for you when pulling for a break (from someone who had an inch of float tip go through his thumb) - put the elastic round the leg if of your platform and gradually pull at 90 degrees - never had a problem since.

Yet another top class video pal. Really like the format, great to see an angler catching in real time rather than sitting on his box explaining how it should be done. Keep 'em coming please Dave.

Another great video, well done. A word of warning, in the late 1970s a young angler got snagged as you did fishing a reservoir in Greater Manchester. As you he pulled towards him, and he broke free, however, the lead came free and hit him in the face blinding in one eye.

Great result Dave. Love hemp fishing. Struggling to get decent hooker seed though, any chance of information on what you are using please and where its available from. 🙏 thanks mate . Steve 👍

For feeding, i use the tinned Sonubaits natural hemp. You will find some hookable seeds in there if you search through it. I tend to cook a small amount of hemp at home for hooking. It's hard to come across a good batch so when i find some, i buy plenty! The batch I'm using now I've had for around 3 years!

@ Winsford Soul Loves to dance - Also mate, I always used to buy Sensas Giant Hemp, which was fantastic for the hook. Plus the fact that you had to boil it yourself made it so you could get it perfectly cooked 👌😆 As well as that, it's convenient - boil the whole bag up and freeze it. All you need is a small handful for hookbaits so just break some off the frozen stuff you pre cooked. Loosefeed the small seeds and the giant hemp on your hook will stand out. I would have thought that you can still buy it because I'm going back nearly 30 years here.

Thanks mate, i don't use any mics whilst fishing as i tend to just get on with it. Didn't think anyone would want to listen to yam yam anyway 😂
