The cops screwed that up. They failed to properly secure the prop truck on scene and didn't searched Kenny's place for days after the incident. He had plenty of time to tamper with evidence. The prosecution knew they would never be able to get a conviction on him, so they focused on Hanna and Alec.

The blonde prosecutor lady is smart but she is obnoxious and disrupting, and mainly, she acts like the court is her own house. I honestly don't care about Baldwin and i find the other prosecutor to be doing a fantastic job. But the blonde prosecutor needs someone to tell her that the court is not a bar. Never before have i seen a prosecutor standing up again and again, telling the judge, "ok let's approach". A prosecutor ALWAYS objects, and then ASKS the judge for permission to approach the bench. This lady here will then approach the bench and lie on her side just like a drunk in her favorite downtown bar!! She also stood in front of the judge a couple of times with her hands in her pockets!! She also touches things in front of the judge!! Lady we know you are smart and capable. You would not be a prosecutor otherwise. But anyone working for the good of the public should never act the way you act inside this courtroom and in front of this judge. Again, the other lady prosecutor is doing a fantastic job.

@@JayLSee the judge has given permission to approach the bench when there is need to discuss with both parties. this blonde obnoxious lady, 2-3 times, started walking towards the bench even before the judge had the chance to say, overruled or sustained. So i saw the blonde obnoxious lady tell the judge a couple of times, let's approach judge, only for the judge to tell her, OVERRULED. And proper behavior inside a court, should make that blonde lady stop leaning on the bench of the judge like she is on a bar somewhere downtown.

As an armourer , it was her job to know . One that she clearly she was unqualified for . As a result of her laxity , lack of qualifications and ability , a lady lost her life , to include injuring another . 18 months only for such conduct ? No. She should never have been allowed near fire arms at all .She should be serving a lengthy sentence , as a lesson to all. . Furthermore , her alleged drug use was never questioned nor tested at the time - was it ? As for Baldwin , there is no law which determines that as an “actor” he should check the weapon himself after being handed it by a so called qualified professional . Albeit , all people should be properly trained in the handling of firearms. This case was ill founded , lost sight of the crux of the Baldwin matter and ALSO exposed the enormous incompetency and laxity of the Santa Fe Police Force , in all its forms . Furthermore , the Prosecution was equally inept . In all likelihood , Baldwin , although posturing in his woeful attempts of acting , was waving a gun around - on a negligent basis . And that basis is founded upon the sensible and known protocol of checking that which had been handed over . Had he done that , even without the expertise of knowing the difference between a “blank” , “ dummy “ round etc , at least he would have had huge and legitimate mitigating circumstances opposite this ill conceived , ill presented prosecution. He must have pulled that trigger , despite his claims to the contrary - as he postured around the place. Who or whom takes hold of a gun of any type from someone else without absolutely double checking ? But that’s trigger happy , guns freely available to America , a country of sloppy , dangerous liberal laws . The Constitution has not kept up with the valid reasons to bear Arms in protection of the Self , the Home and the Family. As for movie sets , the known irresponsibility and the ongoing promotion of violent movies , these violent rap songs whatever they are , with guns , promoting violence - is ABHORRENT. Get a grip America on sense , proper conduct , decent values and civilised behaviour and not be so gun trigger happy. Imo

It's very frustrating having all these interruptions. Surely the judge and the prosecutors should have decided on the various technical issues on presentation of evidence and lines of questioning ahead of the trial? I appreciate there might always be new and unexpected developments on this, but they seem not to have properly established the fundamental ground rules beforehand so now seem to be doing it on the hoof. I also remain bemused why any potential failures in the police investigation are relevant to the heart of the issue: the heart of the issue being AB's rather lackadaisical practices with his gun and whether he had any responsibility for ensuring there was no live ammo in the gun.

He’s an actor who was handed a “prop” gun and told “it’s cold” that is, it doesn’t even have a blank in it. That’s why you see him in the film they do have rehearsing the scene pulling it out of his jacket and putting it back. Whoever was responsible for supplying live rounds to that movie set, is responsible fir that poor girls death. That is the case that should have been investigated and prosecuted. Not Baldwin.

On a movie set where it should be impossible to ever find a live round, she found several. Why is any of this relevant where from or who brought the live ammunition on to the set? We have determined this about Seth Kenny previously. The point of this case is who pulled the trigger and why. Did that gun go off on its own or by human intervention?? Is this not what we are here to determine??? All this live rounds chat is tedious. We know there were live rounds because people got shot! I don't get why we are going over this again? HGR was already convicted of this point. She got it initially when using it on another movie, then brought the leftovers to the Rust set to save money, so they didn't have to spend little money the budget allowed on purchasing new boxes of prop rounds. It is completely irrelevant who/where those came from. She brought them on to the set. End of story. Baldwin isn't on trial for bringing live ammo on set. Confusing BS!!

On Day 2, around 6:22, the whip starts to come down. The Crime Scene Tech seems hostile. She appears to often look at the prosecution for approval. Her poor memory undermines her credibility. I love how she shoves the document away as if it was covered in anthrax! The body language from this point on is RICH, and gets richer by the minute. This case boils down to one question and one question only. Was it Alec Baldwin's responsibility to check and be sure the gun was safe irrespective of what anyone told him??? That is the only question. If it was, he is guilty. I doubt in American Law if anyone can be absolved of responsibility because they were told it was someone else's responsibility. Just because the ammo was diffrent doesn't mean it didn't come from the same person it was starline brass so it was hand loaded. When you hand load ammo you load it for different purposes. Some may be target. Some may be hunting. Some may be for testing accuracy to obtain the best load for that particular firearm in doing so you use diffrent projectiles diffrent powder and weights and diffrent primers so none of this proves nothing like this whole trial utter bullshit

All the experts on gun use on movie sets are stating that actors are trained to aim skewed away from the people present around them. ( not aiming directly at the camera, but slightly away. I am losing faith in the judicial system. The fact that the DA on this whole case said in Hannah Gutierrez's case so proudly "I AM THE ONE WHO FILLED CHARGES AGAINST MR. BALDWIN, I DID THAT!" tells me she's doing her best to get screen time with the actor only this . .. THIS SH¹T IS REAL LIFE & THIS MAN'S LIFE. There were so many ppl who screwed this up & the actor just shouldn't be held responsible for this. When you've got actors on the same set pointing guns called out as "cold" guns directly at the camera where someone is clearly operating it, ON THE SAME SET, IN THE SAME BUILDING & on countless others sets on & off screen for decades, I just don't see how this was his responsibility or the potential responsibility of any actor anywhere, anytime etc EVER! This is why they have safety measures in place, ppl who's entire job description/duties revolve around exactly this task to prevent injuries & fatalities from happening. When those same ppl scramble to tamper with evidence by throwing away or concealing potential evidence before the "scene" is even considered a "CRIME SCENE" & those same ppl aren't separated, everyone was free to move around & leave etc except for Hannah & Alec (mixed info on him) it just screams guilty conscious to cover ones tracks & pin it all on those 2 & offer deals to the ones with actions of guilt & self-preservation! I understand the devastation this caused & loss of life, altered lives and psyche's etc but it makes no sense going after Mr. Baldwin for this. This is garbage & the opening statements said it all in my long winded, bag of wind, everybody's got one opinion. This man has to live with the fact that make believe took a person's life at the other end of his hand because someone(s) failed to do their job(s) resulting in that preventable loss! He's for sure suffering in anguish over this to just be bullied by a greedy prosecutors office. Let these ppl get on with some healing in their lives, they deserve that and need that. 🫶🏼 🙏🏼
