Beautiful! The dreamy blurry effect is much better than detailed drawing that looks like a copy of a photo! This is much more artistic! ❤

Hi Renso I love your portraits you are amazing. I am a pastel artist and when I use Canson Mi Teintes I used the soft side not the texture side since for portraits the soft side in my opinion is better

Really nice. Wondering if you ever use a little fixative before you get to adding the last little bits of detail.

yes, sometimes, but i will dark the pastel if i decide to use a fixative i have to paint the lights again

It seems to me that the primary difference is the contrast. The photo appears to me to be much darker in the shadow and the area around the hair? Thanks

Dear Renso, please make a video of how to draw a portrait of a person with very pale skin in pastels. Because the colors used in the previous videos always create a warm undertones for the skin, which is not suitable for all portraits.

Beautiful portrait. If I dare, the nostril is a bit too small and the eyelid of the left eye is too low. Changing these 2 little details makes your beautiful painting an absolute perfect Emma Watson. Amazing work.
