Oof...i greatly prefer the ones that stay in their 1 zone, but in my experience there's 4 main types of drunks... 1. Happy drunk 2. Angry drunk 3. Sad drunk 4. Party/hype drunk With lessers and more specific ones as more alcohol comes in to play. But thankfully out of my friends that drink, I don't anymore, they all go in a rotation of... Happy to party to sleepy I can manage those

When I was 17 I went to a party and got really drunk. People started fighting and doing drugs so I decided it was time to leave, my initial plan was to sleep over. So I started to walk home and about halfway there a cop stopped me. I answered everything he asked 100% truthfully. Told him I left because there was fighting and drugs. He ended up giving me a ride home and his personal card to call if I get into trouble. He didn't even tell my mom I was drinking. Goes to show if you just let them do their job and are respectful, they will treat you well and be fair to you.

I had an alcoholic father who was very abusive and it got so bad his mental health deteriorated completely with wet brain syndrome officially called Wernicke-Korsakoff which is psychosis and dementia symptoms. I was an alcoholic for 2 years from the time I was 15 and doing other drugs. Weed helped me quit all of it with no negative side effects, it helped the withdrawal of everything. My dads father, my grandpa was an alcoholic so was his mom my grandma. To sum up my dads childhood when my dad was 6 years old my grandpa his dad put a shotgun up to my dads mom head and my aunt Cheryl when she was 11 got the other 4 kids out through basement side window. My childhood was similar but never did my dad use shotgun. Last time my dad lived with us before he died was the day he chased my mom and brother down the driveway with reciprocating electric saw, last time I saw him was at our front door violating a restraining order 3 days before he died. He lost two jobs in one year 2011, one he had to go to rehab for 2nd time due to drinking on job working for Discovery Channel, the other he lost to DUI on the job at 2112 New Hampshire Ave in DC. I took that job that summer as HVAC apprentice.

he probably wasn't interested in taking her into jail, cops tend to have some leeway on things like public intoxication, most of the time if they take them to jail its because the person was violent, driving, or endangering themselves and/or someone else, she was just cussing so he just wanted out of the freezing weather, so that she wouldn't die

The police officer handled the situation well. My concern is that the lady began to freak while surrounded by all men (alphas). Sometimes substance abuse users use to escape trauma. She might have been triggered by the men. It is 100% not their fault in any way as they were all very professional. And they have no way of knowing she might have been scared and that's why she began to leave and act aggressive. She was posturing as a defense mechanism. It's very interesting and a good video for educational purposes. Once she began to get upset the officer could have suggested getting a female on scene. Again, all the responders were great, but we can learn from every experience.

This is a very good point. I'm a paramedic. A good friend of mine taught me to evaluate patients and substance use as a chain-reaction cascading of events that start with a catalyst such as trauma/abuse and ends with whatever factors led to your interactions at hand. This is a very good video to learn from.

You know I used to feel very differently about it but age has taught me the police have a very difficult job most of them are decent people the majority actually, yeah there's a few bad ones but he'll there's bad veterinarians. This dude would be the guy you wanted for a neighbor the guy you wanted for a friend what a good heart on this officer.

TheTimoprimo so that's the point of trying and they refuse you can't force them to do what you want. She right the on a tech she didn't break any laws. Then you can't keep cutting her off saying she can't walk away.
