When you leave your home when you go to work do you not intend on going back? He had made it to the store and now was going to go back home I deal with drunks all the time so I understand people not getting it lol. I think they were. And I feel like guy was just trying to sober up before driving again. Prob hard alcohol, felt fine leaving home, then it kicked in hard. He just got tripped up by a warrant because of a theft ACCUSATION. He still might very well walk from all this with no charges, then have to figure out how to get back and get his truck.

That guy was the luckiest guy on the planet for about a whole 30 seconds😂😂. If you know the police were called out somewhere for you & took off like that during the first 30 seconds of the interaction, the smartest thing to do is to leave right away too because if you do, it not illegal & there's nothing they can do at that point. As soon as that cop sped off, I would have been back in my car & disappeared faster than the Tanzanian Devil.😂😂

Truth, I learned both lessons at once. I ran out of smokes after finishing my beer, I got into my car and buckled up before smelling the beer from burping. Only then did I realize I almost drank and drove, mind you I was so sober I forgot I was drinking so I’m sure I would’ve been fine AND I decided not to drive anyways. It frankly made me feel very bad to have gotten in the car at all, I’m very against it. Now I make sure if I’m drinking I drink enough to KNOW. Cheers lmao 🍻

NOTE to COPS: (From a long sober drunk who remembers....)The guy was as honest and cooperative as he could be. Given how drunk he was....When you asked him "Why?" he did/drove like he did, and he said, "Because I was drunk",he's just telling the simple drunk TRUTH. Because, as we learn in A.A., "drinkin' thinkin' is stinkin' thinkin'".... When you're drunk, the stupidest ideas seem like genius, and yeah, he coulda' driven from NOLA in a drunked blackout, and literally have NO memory of driving long distances. Hey, he was honest and cooperative, at least!....

... so you left a drunk person there with his car. Dude needs to stop drinking he left his home to go home, lost his keys didnt bring his phone. And he is a missing person wtf?
