Literally same thing happened to me, driving drunk with some friends when we were young, hanging out the window. Cop pulls us over and takes the driver license and asks how much we had to drink *radio white noise comes in* "shots fired shots fired, all units to..." throws the license into the car and says "UR LUCKY DAY BOYZ!" gets in his patrol car whips a u turn and hits the sirens and lights...got away with a dui because someone shot at a cop in Minneapolis lol

Awesome story, love it. To the guys above me crying about drunk driving, everyone is young and dumb once in their life. I drank and drove a million times from age 16 to 26, then I smartened up. It's not like in the movies when you have 2 beers and then start driving 120 MPH swerving all over the road. Grow up.

I'm a lifelong drummer that owns a 1990 Miata, and recently went to the RegularCars channel car meet where I met two other NA Miata owners that both ended up being drummers, too! Must be a thing! Glad they let him alone haha

It's a little excessive I think to give the kid a felony for doing a wheelie and supposedly "running". This is where discretion comes into play. As in give him a speeding ticket or reckless driving ticket and call it a day.
