The most honest DUI ever. Most people are like, "I only had 2 beers" which means in drunk speak, " 2 cases of beer". And it's always "4 hours ago" which in drunk speak is "40 minutes ago, why do you think we're out and about? It's beer:30". It was a nice change of pace lol.

I had the same thing happen to me a few months back, I’m 22 w a DUI from when I was 19 and I had 4 beers over a few hours drove home w a tail light out, got field tested for about an hour and got a warning, cool cops

I guarantee you if that guy didn’t like law enforcement he does now for the chance he got. It’s really about creating a relationship where people feel cops are honestly there to help

Clearly I'm the odd one out here. I think the cop made a mistake. I don't disagree that the guy handled himself pretty well after 6 beers, but that doesn't mean he was safe to drive, especially at night when his reflexes would definitely be slower with alcohol in his system even if he didn't seem drunk. Also, lots of people here are saying that Budlight is too weak to give people an effect. Budlight is a weaker beer than most - 4.2% compared to 5% on average - but it's still relatively the same. Let's see how many shots of 40% vodka are equal to the alcohol content of 6 budlights. 1 budlight has 355 mL of beer, so 6 has 2130 mL. 0.042 * 2130 mL = 89.46 mL of pure alcohol in 6 budlights. Vodka is usually 40%, so let's see the volume of vodka that gives 89 mL of pure alcohol. 0.4 * X = 89.46 mL alcohol. X = 223.65 mL of vodka. One shot is 42.6 mL, so 223.65 mL of vodka is 223.65/42.6 = 5.25 shots of 40% vodka. 6 budlights equals 5.25 shots of vodka. Are you telling me that most people would drive fine after 5.25 shots of vodka? I don't think so. Clearly the man here has a high alcohol tolerance (probably from drinking too much) but after this traffic stop he might think he'll be good to drive whenever he's drunk since a cop was cool with it. And one day it might not be 6 beers, it might be 10. And since he was never apprehended this time when he drank and drove, he might do it again after 10 beers and drive and kill someone out on the road. A simple warning isn't enough for people to know not to do it again. This cop, in my opinion, is not "cool" for letting him off.

This is the kind of cops the world needs more of!!
