Someone mentions in chat why are they off for 6 weeks and I agree it is shambolic, they have EVERY SINGLE half term, summer and winter holidays off to INCLUDE bank holidays. Perhaps they should ‘lead’ by example, there is no employee entitled to that amount of time off (unless you’re self employed and you wouldn’t be very successful, thats for sure). Public do not get the same courtesy, therefore I think they should get our standard 4 weeks off per annum + public holidays. They talk about fairness, perhaps they should be singing from the same hymn sheet. It reeks of hypocrisy.
