With all due respect to the esteemed chairman, this enquiry was always going to be a bit of an ordeal for all involved. If he finds it too physically and mentally draining then perhaps he should step aside and allow a more robust (that word again!) person to lead the proceedings. It’s the least the victims of this travesty of justice deserve.

Yes, very disappointing that the Core participants were not allowed to put their questions. Only two of them had questions and they would have amounted to only 8 minutes. OK they often go a little over the estimate, but considering it was only 1615hrs, the Chair should have allowed it.

The Chair should have allowed the Core Participants to ask their questions. It is only right and just that we hear everyone's questions, not just cut it short. It's not fair on the SPM who need answers.

Still waiting to see a letter from anyone on the P.O. board along the lines of ' I cannot in all conscience agree to carry on in my position while the management seem hell-bent in prosecuting P.O. employers who may for technical reasons be completely innocent of all charges'.

Sir Wyn is handling things well. Everyone could see through Mark Davies' BS and Sir Wyn, like the rest of us, had heard more than enough. Nothing new would have emerged.

The Post Office Management and handling of making good their wrongs against so many innocent postmasters through appropriate and fair compensation has been dreadful. The Government should be saying we’ve had enough and immediately pay all compensation claims, this should include loss of liberty, pain and suffering, defamation, loss of livelihood, pension, and impact to their lives. Less than £1m for each would not be fair. Come on Labour, make it your mandate and my vote is yours.

Well, that was just one big PR exercise-the lens through which that guy lives. Sir Wyn was ever gentlemanly, but I'm predicting that his report will be blistering. Let's hope the police find a way to take action against these vindictive people.

An interesting lesson in how communications experts can be employed, in this case, to pervert the course of justice. An invitation for citizens to pay no heed to anything said by politicians, corporations, and organisations that may pay for their services. A very sad reality when lives have been lost or irreparably damaged.

The judge has had enough and didn’t allow for any more questions, incredible, and it seems so dismissive of the people affected and hurt by this, I dread to think he cuts short the Paula Vennel’s examination because he has had enough.

Very obvious from the start that this person was once Jack Straws spin doctor. After all he probably got the job at the PO because of the connection, Alice Perkins being Jack Straws wife! His spin doctor role clearly continued in the post office.

I remember the bits that make me look good and can't recall all the rest. Even now, they're trying to rewrite a different truth....I watched all day to see Davies squirm at the end....didn't get any satisfaction

The worst mark I could give Jason Beer a solid 9/10. It's a near impossible task to expose the full truth given the historically mendacious and malicious behaviour of the witnesses. Those witnesses who are still working for the Post Office will be there for life given that no future employer would employ them.

Is this guy for real. Cannot remember anything that may cause him problems pretends to care about postmasters and their families. All he is interested in is keeping his bonus and not getting dragged down with the rest of the rats in the sinking of the bad ship post-office. Police arrest this person for crimes against postmasters

some of the things he said in those emails were awful.....he tried to prevent second sight and should be jailed....but sadly i doubt any of them will be
