Perhaps you are misinterpreting Biden's anger towards Trump as arrogance. My sense is that Biden would do anything in service of his country to his last breath - currently he sees that service as leading the nation against the looming threat posed by Trump. You can see why Biden would be angry at Trump as he has already proven himself a danger to our democracy, and his Project 2025 & the Republican Platform both prove dictatorial leanings (perhaps Trump is a bit arrogant).

@@tamarabrunozzi8482 Yes, I buy groceries like most of us. There are not really that many 'Elites' as Trump would have you believe. Most of us are regular people, doing the best we can. I have changed a couple food habits, and the bill is a little more than it used to be, but not problematic. The inflation was clearly pandemic related and Biden's policies brought it down at a remarkable speed to 3% which is pretty normal. Most countries are envious of the US's amazing pandemic recovery (low inflation, low unemployment, rising wages, amazing economic growth, great jobs, low crime...) While some people are struggling, I think that nearly everyone can access the basics that we need, and there is also plenty of opportunity to do far better. It is easy to lose sight of the fact that simply being born in the US usually affords us privileges and a basic standard of living much higher than in other countries. I think that our own leaders & citizens are acting in ways of far greater risk to our democracy than terrorist cells. Because we actually are already a great country, we have a lot to lose - let's not carelessly throw it away.

It isn't even funny anymore. It's absolutely pitiful and shameful. To allow him to stand up there and humiliate himself. He couldn't even properly answer any of the questions presented to him.

The border became a mess because he used executive power to undo what was pre-existing when he came into power. So reversing it was also in his power, but he does not want to admit Trump was better at him than anything, so he would rather leave the border as is and keep his pride in tact.

@@sarahsimon1661, and that executive authority is based on the statutes passed by Congress. Statutory authority on immigration is the same under Biden as it was under Trump. Biden didn’t need the proposed law to do what he eventually did, and did only because his election season poll numbers are abysmal.

Biden was dealing with immigration through Congress in a more permanent Bipartisan way. Biden had bipartisan legislation ready to pass, until Trump interfered so that he could run a fear-mongering campaign on the border again. How can anyone trust a candidate who undermines the very policies he was promoting, in order to benefit his campaign? Trump consistently undermines democratic principles & policy; and lies that he is doing the opposite! There is actually factual information to rely on.
