Never been a clothes guy but I got a QILO jacket at the end of the season last year and I'm stoked for cold weather to get some use out of it. The quality and the feel does make it worth it maybe not for a whole wardrobe but definitely some specific pieces.

Real talk loving the pod cast. Im new to Q life and I like how real you and your people are. Love the camaraderie you have with the people in your company. Reminds me of when I was in the Army before I retired how close I was and still am with those who I served with. Plus I’m a Georgia Boi born and raised. Go Dawgs. Question for Q: Would it be possible, engineering-wise, to make a pistol (traditional handgun, blowback, etc) with a titanium slide? Making the lightest possible handgun with Q durability and craftsmanship?

I cant see Q doing a polymer framed pistol, and the ammount of $$ that would go into R&D to develop a metal framed gun that would mesh with the HB or Fix ethos, just isnt worth it...imo. that being said, if Q was involved (by involved i mean a complete takeover) in that silencerco integral brick of a handgun, that could have been big.

@@stephanieandjared390 I’d LOVE a Q “maxim 9”. I was just asking from an innovation aspect. You’re right though, the amount of money going to R&D to make such a gun wouldn’t pay off for a long time, and I think Kevin is a genius when it comes to what he’s done thus far.

@@Landoftheignorant i hear ya. As far as using Ti to make a slide, i think its possible, but it would take some trial and error on recoil spring weights. In theory you could save a shit ton of weight just doing that, but im not sure the coefficiency (sp?) of Ti vs stainless for the slide rails. The steel rails may not react well with a titanium slide over time...kinda like an aluminum frame 1911, they arent good high round count guns. I forget the grade of aluminum that Q is using in their recievers, but if you made a frame out of that, removed meat where its ok to, did a cz style (ish) slide but play around with that concept a little, i bet they could make one hell of a race gun.. Pipe dreams...lol They make the best shit, period. I can only hope that when all my kiddos grow up and get on their own, that i can sell an organ and be able to buy one some day. 🤞

@@stephanieandjared390 My problem is when I have the money, they’re out of stock, and Vice-versa. All I need is a Thunder chicken (and a HB, but it’s way out of my budget currently.) So I’m saving and saving slowly, and hopefully they’ll be in stock when I for sure have the cash.
