Why British GT is fun to watch: McLaren 720s, Ford Mustangs, and Ginettas on the same track. Too bad there are no Bentleys.

Ive just started getting into watching this. Whats the difference between gt3 and gt4? Why do they race together?

GT3s are more powerful and have more sophisticated aero with more downforce than GT4s. GT4s are less expensive to buy and run. GT racing has a long history of different classes of cars racing against each other. Adds an extra challenge for everyone and means you're constantly having to pass and be passed.

Gt3 has a little in common with the street cars they are based on Gt4 has a lot in common with the street cars they are based on

Do the GT4s kind of compete with each other and the GT3s compete with each other or are the GT4s being compared to the GT3s in terms of points/standings?

so they gave him a stop go of 1 sec plus the entire pit lane? Why not just give him a drive through the stop go is just stupid at 1sec.

No one is going to broadcast a race with no commentary, if you want to hear the engines get to one of the races in person.

Porsche's haven't been popular in British GT since the death of GT2, really. The Porsche doesn't suit any of the British Circuits other than Silverstone.

No Ferrari's either, which is a bit odd considering they're as common as Mercedes' pretty much everywhere else. Plenty of McLarens though, which aren't as common internationally
