At 32:45 he says something like enemy on top of the hill. I once watched my BDE commander tell a BN commander who made a comment like that "Jeff if I send you to die on a hill, then I need you to go take it, if you have to, then die on it" I was a young PFC and that has always stuck with me. Luckly we were at NTC. He was a great BDE commander. Former enlisted who made it to E-7 before going Officer. He always took care of his lower enlisted just like a great CSM would.

Thankfully IRL exp translates over, plus once you do it a few times, there becomes a routine you do that's standard procedure. Butt on another note, leading an element in a large scale operation with a bunch of people, WHILE managing the server/logs errors and Zues stuff, huge props to Karma here.

@@reggiemckinney8017 well, unlike normal games, you go into this game with the idea that there is a ranking structure and that the people who know what there talking about will get their space on the radio, Plus theres multiple frequencies so lower level squad coms are usually on another channel, the only comms your hereing are the upper level comms like platoon leaders, command, assets like air, arty, armor and so on. so even the communication is organized

back in the arma 2 days i played with a milsim community and we always had a guy who was our command who talked in Godfather's voice lol United operations/tactical gamer If anyone remembers

I love this stuff! This is exactly what I bought Arma for and never got to enjoy this level of command and control. These comms are amazing! I got an enjoyable yet simple taste with Hell Let Loose which is a lovely game but when teams choose not to comply with command they just get to. These guys all get together to play and it's amazing! This is the dream.

The only thing that kills me about this game and is 100% true is a line I heard on Soviet Womble's Arma bullshittery where Gambit says "Welcome to slow asthmatic jogging simulator 2015" This is so damn true. hahaha

What med system are they using? Talking about TXA and other meds. I'm a corpsman and if the med system is as robust as it sounds I might need to start playing! I would love to put my knowledge into practice for fun haha

idk much about it but I think you can find all the mods they use on the discord. And you can join the server there too to participate in these ops.

I've never really got into Arma 3 at all mainly because to me the game itself doesn't really look that great graphics wise and just seems kinda choppy in general. However, watching someone play it how it's ultimately meant to be played on a high grade PC, is really neat and cool looking overall.

Future soldiers will probably be stationed in VR booths controlling robot soldiers developed by companies such as Boston Dynamics. That's highly likely how it's gonna be within the next 25 years or so, technologically we are almost there, but the infrastructure for something like that is what will take the most time

arma sucks... its dsync city... ruins the fun. That and its super hard to get all the right addons even with addon sysnc. Arma 4 needs a built in mod system.
