So if you look at rookie contracts for all professional sports, the rookies always make vastly less than the top paid players in the league. An average rookie in the NFL makes around 800k but a top 10 player salary in the NFL is making around 40 million a year. Clark has a base salary this year of 76k but the qay the contract sets up it's going to open her up for 500k a year because of endorsements. Of course she's made nearly 40 million dollars already since getting drafted due to commercials, Nike shoe contract, BIG 3 league, etc etc.

Respectfully, madam, you have completely missed the point when you say to Will: “Why do you have to make it a race thing. [sic]” He clearly has not. Instead, his whole point was to explain thoroughly and concisely how we, as white people, are the ones whose race is constantly belittled and criticized at every turn. The term “white privilege” is one example of many. So no, Will clearly has not made it “a race thing.” Open your eyes to see what’s right in front of you. Also, open your ears and listen to what people are saying. Had you done so in this case, you’d clearly understand what Will was explaining. When you fail to see and hear, you run the risk of sounding ignorant.

Biological males in female sports is an outrage - nothing less! My granddaughter competed on a JUCO women's basketball team. I watched as a male pretending to be a female, four inches taller than the tallest woman on the floor, and much stronger. His basketball skills were not impressive, but he could dominate on boards and make power plays at the rim. I encourage everyone who is willing to listen to speak out against/vote against this travesty.

I totally agree with you regarding what you said about the confederate flag. I was born in Virginia, but I grew up most of my life in California. But now I live in Kentucky. What I have learned is that the confederate flag stands for Southern heritage only. And not for any racist/hatred organizations. And this is coming from a former gang member from Southern California (me). don’t believe the hype. I love the south and I’m so glad I moved here. Southern hospitality is the best and now I can live without keeping my guard up like I did when I lived in Southern California. Shout out to my new southern brothers and sisters/friends. Seeing that I now live in the south and I am originally from the south I will add the confederate flag to my flagpole next to my American flag. 💯 🇺🇸

Years ago, the U.S. Olympic basketball team was playing the Russian team. The U.S. team had some exceptional players and were big favorites to win the Gold Medal. But the referees were mostly from the Communist Block, and when it looked like the U.S. team would win the game, the referees allowed the Russian players to push our guys out of the way, grab the rebound and score. This happened multiple times, with the U.S. team losing. The U.S. team did not show up for the medal ceremony. They wouldn't participate in the farce, and I was really glad that they took that stand. You have to stand up against the hypocrisy, so I applaud these girls/women who refuse to participate in a unfair, biased system.

Riley is a gift to all women speaking out with such courage against these people who have and are still abusing our children in this way. Brings me to tears. Will, especially toward the end, you spent more time looking away at whatever it was that was obviously more important, interesting than Riley and her life changing experiences and commitment to change the future of women’s athletics. At times when Riley, focusing on you for commentary, finished her sentence, you could barely manage to look at her and to respond to her or ask important questions as you tried to get back with the program and into the interview after a few seconds of dead air. You have this VIP, a hero, with a wealth of experience and knowledge on your show, and you give an unenthusiastic a half- assed effort to participate. You are disrespectful, and a frankly bored host. You are part of the problem, not the solution, makes me sad. Shame on you, you are much better than this, Will.

Tall privilege! That’s a new one on me! The only advantage I ever got for being tall was I was always asked, “do you play basketball?” I did and I hated it and I was NOT good at it. It was an assumption because I was tall. Other than that, it was always a disadvantage. Too tall to play good parts in theatre, too tall for most guys, everyone always thought I was older…I was always in the back row. Being tall is good for getting items off the higher grocery shelves for random shorter strangers who cannot reach.

I live a couple of miles from the the cemetery where the woman who first sewed the the first stars and bars for the South. I live in a borderline south state . When in a conversation at work someone said "oh so cave hill has a restroom where I can pi$$ outside." The whole history of the southern flag was not at all understood. It's not simply a symbol of slavery. As a former teacher I taught it real, not prejudicial. I just thought that was so sad.

It is so insulting to talk down Caitlin Clark’s accomplishments. She is amazing and I don’t care what race she is. I am not white and makes no difference to me that she is. The View is one of the worse shows in the history of TV.

So let me get this straight (no pun intended): Only an individual can know if they were born in the “wrong body” & what they “really are” - how one appears to others is irrelevant - only you can define your representation & how others view you. Yet everyone OTHER than the individual gets to decide the intention & meaning behind the display/use of symbols/items/etc another person owns, wears, etc (such as a flag). What if someone feels the rainbow flag is a symbol of disdain /violence? It was chosen as a banner/ symbol of representation by the individual that made a target 🎯 of children in Tennessee, so now cannot be divorced from that meaning & could be all someone sees when confronted with it. Who gets to decide the intention behind others words / thoughts 💭/ actions/ inanimate objects/ etc? Seems the only thing we have any freedom, agency or authority over anymore is our gender identity. Feels tyrannical, no?

Many people go "who cares its sports" when it comes to trans playing! What many don't consider is the scholarships the ladies are working for! This has a financial impact as well! Thats before you even consider the physical injuries the ladies are getting from the more physical sports against the males! Keep the boys outta the girls locker rooms.
