I agree, a proper information drive about the Economic ChaCha is needed once the ConAss is done and just waiting for Plebiscite. This is the one that the FPDu30 admin missed out during his term. Incorrect, foreign investment laws block foreign companies from setting up in the Philippines and creating jobs. Only the oligarchs want to retain the constitution so they can keep their monopolies and keep competitors out! Then Filipinos miss out on cheaper and better services and products from foreign companies.

That's why Justice Davide and Mendoza discreetly conceded since they also pointed out the flaws of the current constitution in the terms of the ConAss and start lecturing on how our Congress should act as a ConAss to the point that Sen. Risa calls for a Point of Order to Suspend. Because the jigs is up, people want reform and people want jobs and the current constitution is already exploding to their faces as well.

what is in that people empowerment bill? pass anti dynasty law? i doubt congress will pass that. amending the existing r.a 3019 and adding more penalties/punishment, does not really solve the problem on corruption. How can it even be possible na "corruption ang dahilan ng pagbagsak ng ekonomiya ng ating bansa" na may mga bansa pa nga dito sa asia gaya ng tsina na mas corrupt pa sa pilipinas pero hindi naman bumagagsak ekonomiya nila. One of the recent laws that will allow 100% FDI on one of our economic sectors in our country has already been questioned to the Supreme Court by some lobbyist as raised by Senators Poe and Zubiri. So do you have any idea to make sure that such moves won't be used again by the same lobbyist? If you don't have any idea then sit there and open your mind. We already tried all of the avenues that you and your kind is suggesting but it does not work anymore. So we really need to change the Constitution, because the current one already served its purpose and it is begging to be updated in order for us to catch up. It is just three parts of our Economic Provisions, and we will not include the Land Ownership and the Natural Resources. We will not have the political one, other countries who had the same corruption level like ours but they became more rich and progressive than us have done it. Even the framers of the constitution like Justice Azcuna already said that it is time to change the constitution, while Justices Davide and Mendoza opposes it but discreetly conceded and just gave pointers on to our Senators on how to conduct ConAss to the point that Sen.
