An idea for the tent. You could get some plastic / metal flat hooks that fit onto the bar. They are made for straps on the other end, so you can use a bit of strapping to sew them to your tent. Clears out the velcro and makes it just as quick and strong, with no permanent holes to the boat.

You gotta hit the sand bars Burdekin style. On the plane at full noise. You draw less and momentum takes you over the dry bits.

G’day Rod you should look into a QUAD LOCK phone case and mounts. They are brilliant, really easy to put on and off the mounts with one hand but can’t fall off no matter how rough things get out there. Cheers 🍻 🎣

Hi Rod, Missed the live.. Watched the video regardless, just looking at the boats ride across the water - we did this with our own, 50kg of sand in the bow, just to keep it a bit lower on the water, that was even after Engin trim. Just a thought, Or maybe just location of camera 😜

If your boat won't troll slow enough for POMFORDS drill holes in the bottom of a 5 gal. Bucket through it out the back and let it out and it will slow you down.

Pretty cool, you can really range out wide for the hoo run this year - really gonna have to get another international?? I mean just for the bling of it on the new shiny boat! 😂 - get some good big plugs that pull at speed and make a hoo run it down! Cheers man, always cool stuff - - - J
